It’s clear that people aren’t comfortable with news that Iran has a second uranium enrichment plant. While Iran says that the plant isn’t equipped to produce enough nuclear fuel to power a reactor, American officials want to see the plant for themselves.
President Obama addressed the issue during the G-20 economic summit and stated that “Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow.” President Obama has called on Iran to prove that they are complying with peace measures set by international standards.
But is that enough? Does the President need to take more aggressive measures? Tell us here.

It was the beginning to one of the biggest weeks of temper tantrums—Republican Congressman Joe Wilson’s “You lie!” outburst during Pres. Obama’s healthcare speech last week. While Congressman Wilson later made a public apology, his outburst sparked lots of debate, disgust AND unlikely support around America. That lead to the Senate’s formal condemning of Wilson’s outburst.
For a quick moment, money began pouring into the campaign fund of his likely 2010 opponent, Democrat Rob Miller, however, Wilson supporters hit back with a You Lie t-shirt that would send a portion of the proceeds to Wilson’s campaign fund. Now, Wilson opposition heats up as a No YOU Lie t-shirt hits the market with one goal in mind—get him out of office. A portion of the proceeds from the new No YOU Lie t-shirt go directly to Miller.
What do you think – will you be wearing one of these tee’s?

“No matter what you want to do with your life, I guarantee that you’ll need an education to do it,” President Obama says in his address to American students.
There’s been a lot of backlash for the address that President Obama has prepared to give students today. Conservatives and political opponents challenged the Presidents intentions and felt that his address may be pushing the envelope in an unfair direction. The Obama administration hasn’t backed down from the address; however, they have fine tuned the purpose for it. It’s no longer about getting the students to help the President and has shifted more towards how they can help themselves and their communities.
At the end of the day, it’s not about political parties or free self-promotion; it’s about motivating the youth to do great things. It was big of Obama to switch up his strategy and it shows that even as President, he’s still a team player.
What do you think? Are the opponents simply hating on the President or did they present a better strategy? Tell us here.Image courtesy of google.com.

“For America, he was a defender of a dream. For his family, he was a guardian. Our hearts and prayers go out to them…” Stated in President Obama’s letter to the Kennedy family.
Memorial arrangements for the late Senator Edward Kennedy have been announced and President Obama will give the eulogy. It seems appropriate that the family chose Obama, who greatly benefited from Kennedy’s presidential support. Kennedy was a long-time advocate for civil rights and healthcare and while Obama is a result of the civil rights movement, he is now the face of healthcare. Neither were or are easy fights, but it seems like a fair exchange of effort between two good friends.
So as Pres. Obama cuts his vacation short to eulogize his friend, it’s probably the right motivator to cut out the drama and get healthcare passed for the sake of the future.
Services for Kennedy will be held Saturday at a Boston church and he will be buried alongside his brothers, John and Bobby, in Arlington National Cemetery.
Do you think Senator Kennedy’s endorsement for Obama was a game changer for the now President? Tell us here.
