HATER WATCH: REP. CALLS OBAMA “ENEMY OF HUMANITY”
Critics of President Barack Obama have called him everything from a liar to the antichrist. And now, he’s been called “an enemy of humanity” by Arizona Republican Representative Trent Franks leveled the insult at the president during his speech at the Take Back America Conference.
His reason for insulting Pres. Obama?
“Obama’s first act as president of any consequence, in the middle of a financial meltdown, was to send taxpayers’ money overseas to pay for the killing of unborn children in other countries.”
Franks is referring to a policy said no international family-planning clinics funded with U.S. dollars can offer abortion.
According to CNN, Pres. Obama over tuned this policy to allow for abortion as an option three days after being inaugurated. On the subject, Pres. Obama said “It is time we end the politicization of this issue.”
TELL US: How do you feel about Rep. Franks’ statement?
This seems to have become an easy way for people to gain some publicity.

Another note on abortion. I feel like this to each its own. No one have the right to tell anyone one what to do to their body. If a woman has been raped by her father and decide she want to terminate the pregnancy that’s between her and God. If a woman is raped by a man that Have HIV and she decide she does not want to bring that child into this world that is her choice you nor anyone else have to answer for her choices. You may not like it but their are a lot of reason a woman may chose to terminate a baby. First, I was initially against the war. Now that we are in it we must complete the mission. Secondly, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton voted for the war. I know for a fact Hillary really supported it because she is on You Tube making a big speech how she conducted her own investigation and decided we had to go to war. As for the war: Saddam had used WMD’s before. He was giving our inspectors a hard time for months. He refused to comply and we went in. I have to say, I am against abortion in general, but like Summer I do understand this issue is not always black and white. Almost nothing is. Including war and the death penalty, which I am also very strongly against. I do appreciate the President’s taking on preventing unwanted pregnancies altogether. But I do not want my tax dollars funding abortions domestically or abroad. I also take issue with continuing to spend billions of dollars, thousands of lives on stupid war either. Apparently ‘Take Back America’ and the Republican party are okay with that. Rep. Franks and his cohorts are hoping to stir up fear/outrage by portraying President Obama as a Socialist, spend-happy, baby and grandma killer. Ignoring the real issues that got them booted out of power: The economy and stupid war; one in which the goals keep shifting in order to justify it.

Isn’t the program he funded similar to the Planned Parenthood we have here in the U.S? It’s not just about abortions. The International family planning help on a global scale with issues such as the HIV pandemic and health intervention for women and children in underdeveloped poverty stricken areas/countries. In many of these areas rape is happening in massive proportions and the women are suffering for it.
Personally I’m pro-choice. If the program can be of some help to those who are suffering…
Mar, the reason I could not answer Will question on my belief on it the US should send money to other countries, is because I wasn’t 100% sure on what countries the President is talking about. I also didn’t know the situation as to why he would help the countries.
You stated some facts that the women are being raped, HIV is an issue so if a man that has HIV rape a woman it’s possible the baby may get the virus.
Since you pointed that out. I to am okay with that woman’s choice to terminate the pregnancy, because it was not her choice to get pregnant. It wasn’t her choice to bring a baby in this world with someone that forced themselves on her.

In terms of finishing the job:
making sure that the Iraqi’s can defend themselves against other insurgents and foreigners especially terrorist cells. Just like Afghanistan, if you leave to early terrorist cells will move in and establish and plan more terror. In Iraq the Iranians were also killing American soldiers by supplying weapons to insurgents and planting bombs. Iraq must be a functioning country who can defend themselves and keep out those elements that could hurt us and the oil in the long run.
I will back off the mandatory vaccinations in HC bill for now. I have heard that from a reliable source. However, if the government can make you buy health insurance, states MA and NY, can make its citizens or certain sections of the population take vaccines then I would not doubt we will eventually see mandated vaccinations in the HC bill.
I did my report off of Obama actual interviews, and I read the entire HC bill, That has not been approved yet. It had nothing in it about illegal aliens. So that I know is a lie, keep pushing the bullshyt.

I had my son and daughter immunized as infants and even had to have my tetanus updated before I could enter college. I do not see this as Socialism but an attempt to keep the population healthy. I don’t know about LA, but downtown Atlanta was pretty bland prior to the Olympics. Now Centennial Olympic Park is a popular concert venue. Increased tourism, upgrades to infrastructure and other entertainment and sports venues are why Atlanta was chosen to host the largest aquarium in North America, the 2000 Major League All-Star game, 2002 NCAA Final Four, 2000 Superbowl. Best of all, my niece worked as an extra in the movie ‘Drumline’ filmed in part at the Georgia Dome. How do you like that? Oh, yeah, I know I sound like a travel agent. But I had to stick up for my ATL. Has its flaws but a great American city.

Thanks for the info. I sent my email this morning. He did nothing for which he should apologize.
He’s also getting some flack for using the word “holocaust’ (with a small ‘h’) in relation to the current health care situation. Many Jewish people responded that he needs to apologize for using what it seems they believe to be “their” word. Never mind that Grayson is Jewish also. Don’t think he needs to apologize for that , either.

I’ve been to the Georgia Aquarium a couple of times, Brenda. I love it. My favorite attractions are the boluga whale (I’d never realized they were so graceful) and the wall sized aquarium with seating. Very tranquil.
I was there in May for the graduation of one of my daughters, and happened to catch the Titanic exhibit, too. That was very interesting. Atlanta has become one of my favorite cities.
I live in Atlanta or just outside of Atlanta, a transplant from NJ. I will tell you downtown is still quite bland. Besides the Georgia Aquarium, there is not much to do when events aren’t taking place. Underground has suffered tremendously. Centennial Park, limited activity unless there is a event. The areas of Midtown and Buckhead are nice, though. It also probably depends on personal tastes, what people like to do. The crime rate has gone up significantly in the downtown area. As far as the economy boom Atlanta overpriced/overexagerrated themselves in the housing market and in turn lost money. The condos that were once priced at 300k are now half that price. There were also plenty of housing projects that were scrapped because of the economic downturn, condos built but no one to buy or lease them. Atlantic Station is nice but it’s in Midtown.
Rance, my favorite at the Georgia Aquarium is the Beluga whales also. Watching them relaxed me.
