Remember the supposed war between the Obama administration and FOX News?

Seems like that’s over.

Yesterday, President Obama sat down with Fox News White House correspondent Major Garrett to talk about all sorts of things from bail-outs to Korea. Watch the clips below.

TELL US: Do you think FOX can still complain that the Obama administration is treating them unfairly now that the president has gone on their air?

While many critics have been charaterizing the President’s lengthy deliberation on the Afghanistan war as stalling (namely Vice President Dick Cheney who said Obama was “afraid” to make a decision), former Secretary of State Colin Powell advised Obama to “take his time.”

In an interview with Roland Martin, Powell remarked that the President should not rush to judgment and as any potential decision will have “consequences for years to come.”

It was October 2002 and the DMV (DC, Maryland and Virginia) was on lockdown during the three weeks when John Allen Muhammad and his then seventeen-year-old accomplice Lee Malvo terrorized communities with their random murders.  Known as the DC Snipers, the two men took 10 lives before being captured.  While Malvo is serving four life terms, Muhammad is set to be executed by lethal injection today.

Last week Muhammad made an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court but it doesn’t seem likely that he’ll win a stay of execution.  While he sites mental illness as his reason for a stay, his ex-wife and mother of his three children stated that she’s “seen no sign of that” (Times Dispatch).
