President Obama made his first White House visit to New Orleans and arrived with plenty of fan fare, as well as some criticism. While he has sent several of his staff to the area still ravaged by hurricane Katrina, the public is asking for more. So how should Pres. Obama handle New Orleans?

TELL US: What can Pres. Obama do different to prove that his administration is taking the people of New Orleans seriously?

I love your program. I leave your show feeling like I have learned something. I love the passion and civility of your panel.

I agree with you — ‘action’ not a bunch of words or photos should be what determines if President Obama is doing a good job with NOLA. He and his team are doing a good job. Things are moving along.

The elected officials of NOLA have to get their stuff together and do what’s right for all the people of NOLA instead of playing politics.

People need to remember to keep their eyes on the prize not the hype.

Representative Cummings talked about prevention and its importance in staving off disease. I would whole heartedly agree but prevention is not something to just throw money at. We ALL need to look in the mirror and take responsibility for being overweight (leading cause of diabetes), going to the doctor. Even educated and those who have the intellect and resources to do these simple things choose to ignore this. WHY?
