There is a slim possibility that KSM will get off. What’s probably more likely to happen is that KSM, as he represents himself, makes a spectacle of our system. He will get to cross examine government officials, be privy to sensitive information, and draw a negative picture of our entire process. This is done all on a global stage. The whole world will be watching. This is the guy who has already admitted to masterminding 911.
So why the trial? We already know. To put the Bush administration on trial. Is it really worth all that?
I am not sure what the Administration is doing and I’m even more sure they don’t either.
