I am sick of my people we are the only race that have the money to put are people to work and don’t, other races whites mexicans and asians all have their own and put their people to work but not us,we expect are black president to do what we should be doing and don’t, talk is cheap, stop begging the white man, and start helping are own people.

I was exhuberant when TV One added your news show as I thought then and still believe it is important to have a serious news venue to responsibly and accurately air minority and diverse opinions.

For that reason I was particularly disappointed in today’s show Nov 29th. First, to position Steve A Smith as the guardian of any knowledgeable thoughts on world or national concerns is disconcerting. President Obama has been the recipient of more death threats than any President in the history of our country. Yet he perseveres. To refer to him as weak is not only irresponsible but ignorant. I think he’s earned the right to receive an apology.

What is weak is a Black news media and political establishment that like their counterparts were afraid to even question the policies and blatant lies of the Chaney/Bush regime, who now find it their responsibility to have final approval over every decision this President makes and to hold him personally responsible for reversing decades of political and economical injustice and errant policy decisions as it relates to everything under his command.

That’s not objective questioning or holding one of our own to the same standard. Quite the opposite, it’s holding one of our own to an impossible standard and a demonstration of the vestiges of slavery. I expected more from you.

I think some people are under the impression that the President has this amazing power to change political policy by himself. At the present time time his own Democratic Party members oppose him in just about every policy decision he makes, especially those decisions that may appear to help the working class. It is fair to assume he has the power to chang policies when we know that polictically he has few allies if any. There are absolutely no Republicans that side with him on most issues and you can say its partisan politics but in reality it is just plain racism. The other reality that is hard to swallow is that the government does not eun the country, it is the multinational corporations that tell or should I say pay the house, senate, and congress, instructing them on what policies it wants in place for the country. When you have policies in place that allow large corporations to make money from first taking advantage of its consumers and workers and allow them to avoid paying taxes you have monopolies that control a nation and not its people or government.
