It was only a little past 11pm (ET) when Art Fennell announced to the watching world that America had done what many thought impossible: elected an African American man to the highest office in the land. But we don’t have to remind you, now do we? That night is still fresh in all that watched and for some, will never be forgotten.

The emotion of the night is written on the smiles, cheers and tears of those at Grant Park that fateful night as well as those on the TV One website who watched history live.
