WHAT’S IN AN IMAGE?
Joker-facing is the Photoshop trend that morphs a person’s image to that of the Joker, a character seen in most Batman films. It has been used on former President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and now President Barack Obama. It was never a big-deal before but as Obama’s joker-face image emerges its leaving a few people feeling uncomfortable. Captioned with the term SOCIALISM, Obama’s joker-face has people wondering what the whole joker-face means anyway. Is it a political statement or a joke?
There’s a thin line of what’s funny in regards to Obama because as some have suggested, it could be interpreted as a modern blackface sambo.
So what do you think? Is there a fine line between what’s funny when it comes to President Obama because he’s Black or is he fair game like everyone else?

It’s a very sensitive subject. Personally, I don’t think it’s funny.
What is the point? I don’t get the connection between Socialism and the Joker. Even if the depiction is intended to be mean-spirited, at least it should aptly make the point, otherwise it’s just dumb. Anyone can put random images and words together… nothing clever about that.

BIG DEAL!!!!
While it was meant to be mean-spirited, I paid this one no mind. Obama has endured worse insults than this. I’d ignore it.
Any public figure is ‘fair’ game. This nonsense comes from people who cannot articulate their opinions in an intelligible, logical manner. Instead of allowing them to coax us into outrage we should just laugh at them.

Regardless of color, anyone who’s in the spotlight is going to get it at one point or another. When this is all said and done he is still the president.
Whenever a person steps into the political or celebrity scene they open themselves up to the good and the bad media attention. Doesn’t make it right, it just makes it what it is. President Bush was called stupid in his judgement while attempting to run the country, he won a second term. President Obama is smarter than Bush, he will get over the negative publicity. I kinda feel sorry for his children but they have parents who have warned them of people’s ignorance.

and is one persons view and we should not give the wack job the attion is has already got. this is one view that can not changed lets work on the ones that can be. like the young kids that will see this and draw the wrong ideas of what it is to be the prez of the great county.

I take offense to this.
I’m proud to have supported Barack Obama’s campaign for the presidency, and I’m prouder still of his presidency. Don’t people have memories? Remember President Bush’s press conferences? Some of them were as revealing as they were embarrassing. We finally have a president who’s worthy and a credit to the United States. He’s not only articulate, he’s also on top of the current issues and intellectually nimble as well. I’m damn proud of him. He’s a States Man if there ever was.
