I am very excited to view the premier of Washington Watch. I know a great deal of work was put in to assure that this show is a success. Washington Watch is long overdue. The image of people of color, is now taking a great leap over a very high hurdle. I look forward to Sunday’s premier.

I’m excited over this long overdue show. I’ve been alerting others about the premiere of Washington Week. I particularly requested that Jason Linkins from The Huffington Post include Roland Martin in his Sunday Morning column. Congratulations Mr.Martin I wish you all the success in the world. We need a diverse voice on the Sunday Morn Chat Fest circuit and I’m thrilled it your voice.

Thank You! Finally, a news program that is completely professional and does not ignore the truth in favor of whatever the ‘media’ has decided is ‘newsworthy’ for the day. I almost wept with joy when I stumbled upon “Washington Watch with Roland Martin” this morning. Mr. Martin is a respected voice as news commentator. I will certainly spread the word about this most excellent program. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Awesome show Mr. Roland Martin! Like Heyward, I too am very excited about this long overdue show. It’s been a long time coming, and I know change is gonna come. I specifically changed my cable television carrier from A&T Home Entertainment (Dish Network) to At&T U-Verse in order to have TV-One in my channel line-up. The premier of “Washington Watch” was very informative and I enjoyed all of the segments. Thank you so much for reporting on our government’s happenings from a black perspective! Finally! Another breakthrough I’d like to see on TV-ONE is a daily evening news cast with good black anchors who have a sincere concern for the black community. Thanks again for your hard work and integrity Mr. Martin, and know that you have a regular viewer in Monica J. Keep up the great work!

I agree with Monica J. I would definitely watch a serious daily news show on TV One.

Thank you Roland Martin. You are a voice in the wilderness of otherwise biased news reporting. Finally there is someone to really present a fair and balanced news report that the African American Community can identify with. Thank You for speaking from our perspective when often no one speaks for us and mostly ignores us.In a country that is swamped with the enormous amount of media outlets and reporters that soley rely on spin, misinformation, and falsehoods that have the peoples minds confused, thank you for the light of truth. God Bless your sucess.

Roland,
I am very excited, and proud of you to have a voice on TV One about this current administration. I watch CNN and MSNBC for political viewpoints. When I watch CNN, I look for you. I watched Campbell Brown while she temporarily out when she had her baby, because I knew you were hosting. When Jesse Jackson ran for President and gave his speech at the democratic convention, when Al Sharpton ran for president, I enjoyed them at the Democratic debates I wanted to hear us as a people, be able to understand the current information, and share it with others to learn and understand. Many African Americans hadn’t engaged into politics because we simply didn’t understand what was being said. Our previous president, President Bush delivery was so poor, until you couldn’t understand what he was saying to formulate an opinion in many cases. Our current President Barack Obama is an outstanding orator. Roland, I look for you whenever there is a serious discussion about this current administration. I am an avid TV One, CNN, MSNBC watcher and I applaud their programming. It is a pleasure to see TV one presenting African Americans in a much more positive light for our community, other than watching gang banging, butt shaking bunch of illiterates. I (love) my people but it is time to put away some foolishness.
As I watch your show, and I observed Armstrong Williams on other shows with ED Gordon I was waiting for him to come out of a bag, but apparently you have already discussed behind the scenes that you want a much more professional image. I have watched previous attempts of news from the “Black Perspective” and I see you have decided what you are not going to present to us, I appreciate that. I watched how you interviewed VP Joe Biden, you set the standard this morning, I was very proud of you. The guests you had, expressed their point of view without yelling over each other, I know Armstrong wanted to, but since your other panelist didn’t, he probably didn’t want to look obvious, good work Roland. I am anxiously looking forward to future program. Keep the standard; raise the bar on intellect, and professional ism, to get the information out there. I applaud you for keeping the information easy to understand so that many people can understand the issues.
The reason why our current president is so easy to enjoy is because , his speeches keeps the language simple, in which most people can understand the information. I remember l earning a long time ago in a training class, when you do a presentation for a vast audience to keep the information simple for the multitudes to hear, keep the language simple so all may enjoy.
Roland, when you stand up for us as a people and you do. I am proud to say you are crystal clear on your viewpoint; you are firm when you need to be, and clear enough for viewers to understand.
Thank you,
Congratulations on your new show, and I will look forward to watching you for years to come.

History in the making!

Mr. Martin, it was such a great opportunity to meet you and be a part of the on location experience for the premier episode of “WASHINGTON WATCH”. I look forward to future programs, staying more politically informed and I’m calling more family to watch the rebroadcast at 5pm!

“YES!, YES! YES!!!”
I taped the show while I was at church, came home, had a bite to eat while I eagerly sat down to watch Washington Watch with Roland Martin and again I have to say,…”YEAH BABY!” Read my lips when I say, I loved it, it was great discussion and robust debate between intelligent people of color. I ate it up along with my Sunday Dinner. Vice president Biden was concise about the White House’s strategies concerning Afghanastan after they themselves complete their election processes and decisions which makes sense to me.
I cannot wait for the next show.

Brotha Roland…I for one, support you and respect your opinions and though I may not agree with everything that you and/or your guest may say, I trust that even when we differ, we’re coming from the same page. That page is, various and varying viewpoints all designed to come to productive conclusions that will enhancce, inform and empower the black community.

“I give your show a resounding thumbs up!”

So needed, so welcome! Welcome aboard, Mr. Martin. This morning’s show was a fine start, except when you let A. Williams get away with his big lie–that most Americans don’t want health care reform. Every reputable poll I’ve seen says the opposite. Most Americans (including according to some polls a plurality of Republicans) not only want reform, but we want a public option (60-65%) as well.

That said, I will be a regular viewer, wishing you all well.

While watching THE CONGRESSIONAL BLACK
CAUCUS town house meeting, I enjoyed the views of a young man names Johnathan
Rodgers. He mentioned TV ONE.COM several times, so I set out to find it on my computor. Will I be able to view this at my leasure, or at eleven and five next sunday? ROLAND MARTIN’S repretation is well documentated. His ability to CLEARLY articulate the issue is refreshing. I am looking forward to WASHINGTON WATCH. Some of the people, who got to the microphone in Washington D.C.,were embarrassing to the NATION.Welcome Mr Martin…Welcome

I will follow on the blog , great timing Roland

Because Roland Deserves this forum…I am so proud of you Brotha. I’m happy that you have a TV show where you can work it out. I enjoyed the show, it was of course informative and also entertaining. The panel was an excellent mix of minds. I look forward to seeing correspondents from The Final Call Newspaper and other Black periodicals..All The Best…God Speed.

Washington Watch is a breath of fresh air. All of the other Sunday morning news and talk programs pale in comparison. Roland’s new show is well done and greatly appreciated. No more Meet the Press or any of the other crap that keeps including the same old tired voices and faces. I will be watching “Washington Watch” from now on.

Great show, Mr Martin! I really enjoyed it! Long overdue!

Hello,
I had wondered when this type of show would come. For to long have I had to endure misinformation to and about our community over other shows. I am so thankful for TVone and Mr. Martin for his knowledge and wisdom regarding our side of situations. I wish Roalnd had more time for his commentary. I am a fan.

Thank you very much!
