I don’t know a lot about the New World Order but from what I know and have heard its a scheme to have one global government. So our President would report to this central power. The UN has been after this for years. Of course, the UN is made up of a lot of countries that have less than us. It would simply then become a wealth distribution channel for those UN countries. Take from us to fill their need. I don’t think Obama would have a problem with this since his main focus is to redistribute the wealth and punish those who have attained a certain level of wealth in this country.

The HC and cap and trade schemes are exactly that: a way to redistribute wealth in this country.

Mara, interesting response. I’m sure you are a busy person. Who in 2009 isn’t. Of course, you don’t need to explain the science of the sky being blue; however, there are time, when further clarification of one’s point is required, IF that person truly wishes to be understood, that is. To put it simply, my point was that your ‘approach’ is… interesting. I hope that was your take-away because that was my intent.

And, yes, I can – as can others – ‘decipher’ a simplistic POV or comment; however, and especially in this medium, “simplicity” can be … misconstrued as being simply…wrong. So, you’ll see many examples of people asking other’s what they meant by what they wrote. I’m “assuming you are an intelligent person” and realize that it’s better to ask, than to assume.

AP, I am assuming your are an intelligent person and can decipher a very simplistic point of view or comment. It is not my style through this medium to elucidate every point that I raised. This would be an exhaustive exercise for me, personally. I am always busy with more important tasks when I do post a comment etc.

While some users may enjoy the back and forth debate, I don’t. So, if my comments appear as “parsing,” it is deliberate.

Simple put, if I say the sky is blue — I don’t need to go into the reasons, the science, history etc.

CNN gives the pros and cons of Obamanomics. It’s fair and even handed. No President is going to have absolute approval on every decison that he makes. I have watched Hannity, but I usually turn it off half way through his program.

As much as I disagree with their political views, I try to gleen some information that is important to me as a voter and citizen. I’m not thrilled with Bill O’Riley, but, I think he makes more of an effort to be fair and accurate in his reporting.
