I like to make a comment regarding the issue of Black Women and herpes as reporting on this show tonight. When the CDC gives statistics why is it always percentages and not numbers. Black women are always reported to have largest numbers of any ill fated disease or addiction. Society always reports us as last on the totem pole. However, hypothetically if you have 3 million white women in America and 500,000 Black and you report percentage wise it would seem that Black women have the highest occurences of disease when in fact number to number it would have to be white women becaue there are more of them. The same thing goes for welfare, there are more white people on welfare than blacks. Percentages give a very misleading impression and can be used to imply something a fact when in fact it really isn’t true. Roland I agree with you. Unprotecting brings consequences, but the CDC seems to be notorious for reporting misleading information. Mary Byrd – A Fan – Great Show Roland!
Our economy took a big blow. We can’t expect things to improve overnight. Unfortunately, it will take time.
Jobs is on everyone’s minds except Obama’s and the Democrats.

That’s right just keep on waiting. When will u learn, Americas success (employment) doesn’t translate into jobs or opportunities for Black Folk.
There a certain areas that need targeted effort. What good is turning the economy around if Black employment remains ridiculously high.
No its not all on the President. However having personal experience within A/American neighborhoods. He is better equipped to address these issues that are unique to those areas.
But hey screw that, just keep waiting. Next up is immigration and DADT. And that’s the first four years, right there.

This is BS, all Presidents should have been doing the same thing. Which is targeting specific areas, for intense economic scrutiny. This President has the advantage of knowing the struggles of Black working class folk.
During the election his race was an asset, which helped him get elected with a record 96% – 97% of Black vote.
How is change working out four ya. ya still waiting, aren’t ya.
Al Sharpton has been using race as weapon every since he was fat and wearing sweat suits, and now that the race card is viable and effective, he says don’t use it.
And the President is wrong too. He says that “programs that help the economy generally will “lift all boats”.
this is flat out not true, and most of you with significant life experience no this is not true. How does Immigration Reform lift up the black boat? How did bailouts lift up the Black Boat. How did the Mortgage Bail out lift the black boat.
I tell you how, it didn’t! It didn’t even slow black unemployment or the loss, of homes, by all Americans
Black folk have every damn right to demand action, just like gays, the uninsured, and the Car industry. What da hell was the point in voting for him, if he is going to treat you just like every other damn President.

Roland – Put jwill7 to work on something constructive. Put together some form letters and send to these CONTRACTORS’ organizations inviting them to have a FORUM. You have a meeting April 18th – in California – ROLAND you should be a speaker at that meeting.
Start organizing corporations for seed MONEY for the contractors so they can BID. jwill7 should help you not me.
I think jwill7 is already doing something constructive. He’s trying to wake you sleep walkers up. He’s always telling you about whose using regean’s line about rising tides lifting boats. you all just need to wake up.

1. A republican is appointed to head the USDOT. $150 billion are awarded to that body for stimulus work.
