It takes more than a black face such as Michael Steel to get blacks to even consider joining the Republican Party. The teabaggers and Birthers represent the true feelings of the Republican Party. Republicans don’t want nor do they feel they need minorities in the party. For years, they have done well without them-why change now?

The Republican Party needs to find a thread of relativity with the majority of the Black community outside of the upper-class, whose interests their policies have come to represent as well as realizing the social impact such policies will have on the community.

With the Party’s leaders basically representing the White power structure in America, Steele isn’t seen as a credible figure to send any message, as it appears he was merely promoted to the position to pander to the Black community. Steele ain’t no Obama.

who fears this guy? whites repubs are laughing at you and minorities think you are a sell out mr. steele you are worst than sean hannity, rush linbaugh, and glen beck. guess what these same people in your party that you support in their cause, are going to throw you up under a bus as soon as their through using you.
