VIDEO: ROLAND SAYS RACE DISCUSSION SHOULD BE PAINFUL
With all the talk about Sen. Harry Reid’s “Negro” comment, Roland and his panel ask the question “How should America talk about race?” Wait till you see what Roland has to say?
TELL US: Do you think America is ready to have a mature discussion on race yet?

The panelists made some good points. However, just because little black, latino and white children play together, does not mean that institutionalized racism and racism in the media go away. If you think that those 2 problems will not filter into the relationships of those children, you’re wrong.
I played with white children in NYC in the 1950’s-they still thought they were superior to me, and felt they were doing me a favor by being my friend.
Today’s children deserve more than that, but adults will teach them the status quo: White trumps everybody else. So yes, Roland, you’ve gotta bring the pain if you want to gain true equality. The truth hurts.
we defend and protect white america and there racism!the real leaders are quiet and tired of fighing for our people when our people fight against them!!!louis farrakahn name can’t be spoken on tv!i’m not a muslim but don’t you think he would be a good middle east diplomat!the black panthers angela davis is alive don’t you think her words matter right now!put a train on the tracks and run over those pundits!you know that the true revolutionaries are not speaking!!!brotha i hope you know?????
p.s. swing back! stop only blocking what they say!!there chin is right out there with there weak politics!right, left and then uppercut!!!when they fall out cold!kick them in the mouth so they keep our name out of there mouth!!!!!peace and love!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband and I watched your show on Sunday. Yes I believe that race should be discussed. I do not think it is the president job to discuss race relation we need people like you, schools, employers and churches to have these discussion. I did not have a hard time talking about race with my children when they where small, their grandparents did.
I can barely afford my 14 life saving medications. My elderly neighbor haves or skips her blood pressure medication because she cannot affort to take it daily.
There are thugs posing as human beings breaking into homes is my city, beating and robbing elderly people.
There are 26,000 properties in foreclosure in the 43 cities, townships and hamlets in the county in which I live. Unemployment is above 15%. The illiteracy rate is about 50% below the national average.
Yeah, let’s talk about race. Nothing is more inportant in this world than talking about race.
Wonder if the people trapped under building in Haiti are talking about race?
BTW, before you whinners get your knickers in a twit, the people affected by these problems ARE NOT ALL BLACK.
Yeah, let’s talk about race. I guess it is what you when you are impotent and incapable of talking, or doing, or working of/for anything else.
One would think that all of these supposedly educated talkers could get off of their butts and DO SOMETHING.
When a bully knocks you down — do you stay downnnnnn???? Do you need permission to get up and FIGHT BACK??? Racism is no excuse for Blacks reamining down.
In the Bible a group asked – SHALL WE JUST LAY HERE AND DIE?????
This is the question for BLACKS IN AMERICA AND AFRICA ____SHALL WE JUST LAY HERE AND DIE?????/
A look at people that are suffering due to racism are THE AMERICAN INDIANS AND THE ABORIGINEESE IS AUSTRALIA. Is their fight over??? Are BLACKS going to end up the same way????
Are AFRICANS beat down so bad that they can not get up and fight back????
These are some of the painful questions we need to ask.
HAVE WE LOST THE FIGHT?????????/
WHAT IS THE STATE OF BLACK AMERICA?
THE BLACK GAP/////
Blacks are succeeding at a pace slower than Whites. This is still true today.
WHY??? Is it racism or a lack of a BLACK INFRASTRUCTURE???
Are the doors going to open and let us in , or do we push the doors open through our own works and power?
Is the race ever going to be fair and equal??? No, we must bypass the status quo with our own agenda.
As long as BLACKS ARE POWERLESS we hold no threat to the American Status Quo.
When we became a threat in the sixties our leaders were killed and our children wer put on drugs.
The drugs flowed into our communities and infected us.KNOW THY ENEMY.
Racism is not the issue in America POWER IS.
Bean Pies, and Speaks newspapers were the products of a thriving Muslim Organization in America. They owned Restaurants, Bakeries, Schools, Hospitals, Housing, Newspapers, etc. Where are they now??? There power base is non existant.
When Blacks establish another Power Base, we will need to be prepared.
I love the BLAXPLOITATION (SO CALLED) MOVIES. We had a billion dollar industry and let propoganda ruin it for us. We could have had more jobs for our actors. The movies, and comedians have been using the words “N”, “B”, “H” and pimps for decades.
Now, when the rapper started an industry with these same words we almost let propoganda destroy this million dollar operation.
The use of art, poetry, and personal expression is the BLACKS right as well as any other people have.
If our young people are living in HELL – they have the right to rap about it.
I want to watch movies that reflect me, what cable tv that reflects me, and listen to music that reflects me.
BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL AND BLACK ARTISTIC EXPRESSION IS BEAUTIFUL
We must support our young people.
