VIDEO: SHOULD PRES. OBAMA HAVE CHECKED THE SUPREME COURT?
Roland and his panel talk about President Obama’s State of the Union and Justice Alito’s reaction to it. Should the President have left the judges out of it or was it his right? Watch Joe Madison and Armstrong Williams battle it out.
TELL US: Who do you agree with, Joe or Armstrong?

It seems to me that the opposition has been able to remove themselves from the issues they so strongly supported only a short time ago. President Obama, although very focused has a myriad of issues to deal with that he himself can not resolve with such a contentious and scrutinizing economic/political climate. No one could.
Roland,
I have been watching your program since it aired last September and I really enjoy it. Armstrong Williams is a frequent guest on your program and he adds no value to the political topics that are discussed.
I hope that in the near future you invite other African American Republicans that bring some sort of substance to your program and our interest.
I think he should have put the supreme court in check. The behavaior of this supreme court jusice should be a wake up call to all Americans, just how far the country has become so sick, with a Black President that they jus cant set back and hold their underlying racism, that they will stoop down to the lowest form of justice,to make sure this President fails

Yes, President Obama should have checked the Supreme Court because, as he stated, he “believes” its decision will unlevel the playing field in future campaigns, and the American people need to know this. He believes this decision allowing unlimited monetary resources from corporations will “manipulate” people to vote for corporate interests (not the people’s) because MONEY wins campaigns. No, I do not feel the President should have left the Supreme Court out of his State of the Union Address. The decision it made is historical and quite untimely.
Justice Alito broke decorum with his reaction to the President addressing the Court’s decision. The justices are not to appear partisan AND, he like Joe Wilson, made history by making this exception with the Black President.
Armstrong Williams’s words are worthless as his so-called integrity. This is the same Black Judas who tried to sell to the Black community a badly run educational program: No Child Left Behind. It was pushed by George Bush, and Williams was paid a forty pieces of tarnished silver to portray the program as a productive way to help educate poorer students in inadequate schools. And, yes, Pres. Obama was right in calling out the Supreme Court’s decision. Foreign owners of businesses in American can now buy out politicians and help put who they want in office. If Armstrong were running for office he would be the first in line with his hands, ready to sell out America for more Judas silver.
April Ryan is illiterate and needs to go if your show is to have any legitimacy for delivering real news commentary. Verbation is not a real world and serves only to show the ignorance of folks like her who abuse the english language.
Joe Madison is arrogant but knows very little too.
Keep Armstrong and the guys from Ebony
Roland Martin, with all of your supposed education, can’t you do a better job of phrasing questions?
So amateurish.
BTW, tell us how it feels to be passed over yet again by the white boys in the media. Candy Crowley is now the anchor of State of the Union on CNN. One would have thought that all of the shilling you and other blacks do on the white tv shows, you would have been paid by a receiving a permanent anchorship. But every third rate white shill gets these posts.
SHOULD PRES. OBAMA HAVE CHECKED THE SUPREME COURT?”
Who cares? many Presidents have done that. More importantly your guests should lower the noise and the rhetoric, I can get that kinda of dialog on any street corner
Roland the reason the economy is in this condition because to many peoples in washington wasting time making decision like the saying to many cooks in the kitchen there going to be a mess like they debated three weeks wich end to sign a check on there enough peoples in washington making decision to make a ten commandments movie.
