WHITE HOUSE SWAGGER: The President Backhands Cheney on TV
Being Dick Cheney just got a little bit harder yesterday.
If you recall, former Vice President Cheney was on CNN last week saying that some of President Obama’s decisions “will raise the risk to the American people of another attack.”
Thus far, President Obama had been fairly silent on Cheney’s high-profile criticism, but the gloves came off last night when he sat down for his 60 Minutes interview. When asked about Cheney’s statements — the president said simply: “I fundamentally disagree with Dick Cheney — not surprisingly.”
Oh, but it didn’t stop there. Obama dedicates almost three minutes to tearing down Cheney’s diss, and shows once again, why most of the country voted for him — he simply does not back down.
See the whole clip right here:
What I like about President Obama is that his intelligence out weighs the ignorance of america—He is constantly under attack—whereas we had a person in office who had total disregard for life and anything else;with everyone afraid to say anything about him or to him——-
I love how President Obama gets his points across and you don’t have to think long to understand what he is saying—-he expresses himself very well and I love it!!!!!!!!
