OMARION RESPONDS TO RIHANNA RUMORS

THE FACTS
Omarion shared his thoughts on the Rihanna.

THE SPIN
In wake of the fallout from the “Rihanna’s a devil worshipper” rumors, it seems every R&B singer on Earth is being asked to give their thoughts.

Enter Omarion, who gave his own spin on the theory that Rihanna’s turn over to the “dark side” (cue sinister music).

He said:

“I don’t personally know Rihanna’s beliefs but I think there’s a very dark and very sinister part of the entertainment business and I think it’s very visible. This is something that a lot of people don’t look at [but for example] Michael Jackson used to be a Jehovah’s Witness and I remember hearing that he wanted to separate from the religion — and this was during the time that he was doing ‘Thriller’ [which ended up being] his biggest album.

Fast forward to now [and] it really made me think that there is a [time as an artist] where there’s going to be a choice. The [entertainment] world [dictates] that you have to be with three or four women, or do this in order to get that [and] I think it’s really interesting. With God and the industry, it’s really dark. The dark side is having to get in, there’s a certain submission you need to have. Just like a gang [initiation], so to speak. You might have to do something against your moral code. I’m not saying that it’s always this way, but when you’re someone that is young and you’re coming up in the industry and you really don’t have a grip on your morals it can be very dark. The game is just about over saturation.

I don’t know if Rihanna [has fallen victim to those pressures]. I’ve never really heard her speak about it,” he said. “I hope that she doesn’t believe in that stuff and I don’t think that she does, but I don’t know. It’s not just been a Rihanna thing, [there's has been religious speculation] about a lot of artists.”

OK, so while the song “Thriller” obviously has some dark elements to it, this is Michael Jackson we’re talking about. A man who fancied himself after Peter Pan and played with a chimp named Bubbles. Not to mention there are also songs on that album like “The Girl Is Mine” and “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing).”

Not exactly the type of tunes Satan would jig to if you ask me. But hey, people love their conspiracy theories.

But if you’re still not convinced, let Omarion “enlighten” you a bit more:

I think alot of celebs put their music career over religion….this is how they stay on top.to get something you have to give something ( soul )

I don’t know if most celebs put their careers over their religion but morals, ethics and conscious, yeah maybe! It would depend on what their religion/beliefs are. That’s really a blanket question considering everyone doesn’t share the same beliefs.

More do it than those that don’t. It’s a sad commentary, but I believe it is true in many cases.

Of course they do. God did not say for woman to allow her body to be used for whatever purpose a man says, yet if I try to watch a music video, its just sickening. Men are in charge so if they say wear this little shirt, shake your butt to the camera, and please use the N word over and over, then that is just what happens. I just hate to see this with Black women, I hate it.

what are things people sell their souls for - money, fame, power, the opposite sex, the feeling of being above the rules or the law? All things that Hollywood stands for so most people feel they need to conform the that lifestyle because they have made it and they feel they have everything they have always wanted. it is all an illusion and it takes a grounded person to maintain a good spiritual life in the midst of it, especially with every temptation thrown at you constantly. many people go out there looking for a dream, the sad part is many go out there not standing for anything so they fall for everything.

Let’s see or hear some evidence that Rihanna actually worships the Devil before we lay baseless allegations on her.

I mean really a Devil worshipper? Really? That is a far cry from scantly clad dress and provocative lyrics. Does someone really believe Rihanna worships Satan?

anything is possible. she did have an album called good girl gone bad . . .

The quid pro quo Omarion described is not unique to the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, much of society has sunk to such a low that it often rewards people more for trying to fit in, than the quality of what they produce. The workplace and even the church, to some degree, have become havens for sycophants, who’ll never have to work hard or be competent, as long as they can find a butt to leech onto. That always catches up to them, though. Eventually, they run into someone who demands that they simply be effective at what they’re supposed to do.

When people want something so badly that they’re willing to do anything for it, then desire has become their god. People have to know their personal boundaries…how far they’re willing to go for something, or they’ll lose themselves in the pursuit.

Rance,

I couldn’t agree more with what you posted. People do go above and beyond for relentless pursuits. God is not important for some when it comes to making themselves famous and rich and even in the “church”. Some of todays Reverends/Pastors are more interested in how much you give in tithes and offerings and buying fine homes, cars, wearing flamboyant apparrel and writing a book to sell for profit. Instead of caring truly for a soul state of mind and spirit and actually giving a helping hand.

To me the world is full of devil worshippers. People have become selfish impatient and in a rush.

“Who really cares? who is willing to try? to save a world that is destine to die.” ( Marvin Gayes Lyrics from Whats going on Album).

No one said it better than Marvin Gaye.

To Karen C. and Rance, I am often told “not to go above and beyond” in my own job. Now, while I will not be taken advantage of, I think its a waste of space if you don’t try to the fullest. It seems the slackers get all the rewards while the people who actually try get screwed over and often let go of.

Now, I may not be a true Christian like you Karen BUT even I know when something isn’t right. And I do agree its good to have goals but when you go for it at the expense of losing sight of what’s important, then you are in trouble.

THAT IS SO, SO, SO,TRUE THESE GIZZARDS,OLD BUZZARDZ,THESE MONSTERS ON THIS PAGE RIGHT HERE.GOSSIPING WEIRDO’S ARE NOT CHRISTIAN’S THE MONSTERS ON THIS PAGE DOES’NT KNOW THE REAL MEANING OF CHRISTIAN,CAUSE YA’LL WERE BORN EVIL MONSTERS FROM DAY 1 CASE CLOSED AND THIS CASE HAS BEEN WON BY US MEXICANS YA’LL HEARD IN SO MANY WAYS,PLUS YA’LL MONSTERS HAVE SHOWED ON THIS T.V.ONE SITE THAT YA’LL ARE EVIL RATS,AND SNAKES FROM THE BEGINING.
