In a recent radio interview 50 Cent addressed various rumors about who he’s been dating.

THE SPIN
Here’s video of 50 Cent’s interview with “The Madd Hatta Morning Show” at 97.9 The Box in Houston.

Basically: He’s not dating Ciara, didn’t buy her a car, isn’t dealing with Kelly Rowland romantically either, but wait he has put aside personal beef with Vivica Fox to cast her in his new video.

Previously 50 accused Aunt Viv of using their relationship for professional gain. I guess all is forgiven now that she’s agreed to do the same for him.

Mathew Knowles will teach a course on the entertainment industry at Texas Southern University.

THE SPIN
Ever wondered how Mathew Knowles came to prominence?

Yeah, you know how he took his daughter’s talent and gathered ‘round some of her playground homegirls and turned them into a music group.

But do you know what he did after that? Possibly if you watch enough E! and VH1, but I’m guessing Mathew’s got some more tips to share since he’ll be teaching a class this fall.

Indeed, Papa Knowles will be teaching an undergraduate course entitled “The Entertainment Industry” through Texas Southern University’s School of Communication.

Beyonce’s daddy graduated from Fisk University in 1974 with dual degrees—a BA in Economics and a BS in Business Administration. He once taught a course at Fisk.

Dr. James Ward, dean of TSU School of Communication said: “Students who take Mr. Knowles’ class will truly benefit from the many relationships forged with the School of Communication. Our goal is to provide these students with such a well-rounded experience that they will graduate on the cutting edge of the entertainment and recording industry.”

If I were you, I’d never mention the names LeToya, LaTavia, or Farrah. You might want to whisper Kelly Rowland’s name just in case. Other than that, bring your A-Game and a copy of “Solange Knowles & The Hadley Street Dreams” and get your learning on this fall.

Kelly Rowland has dismissed claims that a Destiny’s Child reunion is in the works.

THE SPIN
Is anyone out there still clamoring for a Destiny’s Child reunion? Not that it wouldn’t be enjoyable or anything. Their last album, “Destiny Fulfilled,” was arguably one of their strongest efforts, but that was only a couple of years ago. Are folks out there that pressed for a girl group?

If so, embrace Electrik Red because Destiny’s Child won’t be back anytime soon.

Kelly Rowland confirmed this when she told the New York Post’s Pop Watch blog:

“There is no Destiny’s Child album in the works. None of us have talked about an album or anything. And until we do, no-one else should worry about it. Simmer down now!”

With Kelly scoring her own hit in the form of the #1 U.K. smash “When Love Takes Over,” and breaking free of Mathew Knowles (on the solo tip anyway), I think she deserves her time to stand alone.

Here’s to hoping she finally makes the most of it.
