USHER & TAMEKA DIVORCE FINAL

THE FACTS
The divorce between Usher and Tameka Raymond has been finalized.

THE SPIN
Usher’s finally signed those papers now perhaps he’ll finally stop singing about it.

The Superior Court in Fulton County, Georgia, issued a final decree last Wednesday in Usher’s divorce case, legally ending his two-year marriage to Tameka Foster Raymond.

As for what’s next for the couple: Usher has reportedly pushed back his new album, Raymond vs. Raymond, to early next year.

Now for the ex-Mrs. Usher who’s still holding on to Usher’s last name, she had a photo shoot with the uber talented photographer, Robert Ector.

Here are a few pics from the shoot:

Tameka was never a bugawolf, but wow, she looks amazing. I’ve never seen her look that great.

Tameka also sat down with Taylor Ector studios to discuss her career as a stylist and her new charitable organizations:

She’s promising something “new” on the horizon. How many alimony payments are you willing to bet that it’s a reality show?

TEAM USHER: ‘SONG ISN’T ABOUT TAMEKA’

THE FACTS
Songwriter denies Usher’s latest single is directed at the singer’s estranged wife.

THE SPIN
When you title your album Raymond vs. Raymond in the midst of a divorce, most people assume a song called “Papers” is about your soon to be ex-wife.

But let songwriter Sean Garrett tell it, Usher’s new song isn’t really about Tameka Raymond.

Via People:

“I wrote that record about eight months ago, before he was even getting a divorce. The record is not about Tameka and those are not his words,” he clarifies with a laugh. “I’m a great songwriter; I know how to write great songs!”

And Usher’s always had a knack for using his personal life for professional gain, so does it really matter when it was written and recorded if it’s still being used to exploit the here and now?

Sean claims that Usher had reservations about releasing the song:

“He definitely had a lot on his mind. We talked about this record coming out quite a few times. ‘Should it come out? Should it not come out?’ We had questions about how it would be taken.”

However, once the label heard it they decided to go ahead and leak the single.

Sean told People:  “We knew it was a smash.”

Check the song out for yourself:

USHER VS. TAMEKA, ROUND 27

THE FACTS
Rumors that Usher refuses to sign divorce papers and reports that he called police on Tameka Raymond last week.

THE SPIN
For someone who’s singing about signing some papers, I wonder why we’re hearing rumors that Usher isn’t finalizing his divorce with Tameka.

Via Radar Online:

A source close to the couple claims the singer has delayed inking the final signatures on papers that he filed at Atlanta’s Superior Court.

“Tameka thinks that it’s ironic that Papers is his comeback single when she just wants him to sign the paperwork and finalize the divorce,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “The terms and conditions have been agreed on for around a month but he keeps stalling on them and she’s the one that wants to move on with her life.”

Maybe he’s too busy calling the cops on Tameka to go over his divorce with his lawyer. TMZ reported about Usher calling the po-po on Tameka after a “verbal argument” about the custody of their children.

They wrote:

Usher told cops that after the argument, he dropped his kids off at his mother’s house — but when he drove back to his home, Tameka showed up “demanding to take the kids.” Usher claims Tameka eventually left and he drove back to his mother’s house — but when Usher got there, Tameka showed up and began “knocking on the door” and making several phone calls to the residence.

Usher claims he and his mom ignored Tameka — and eventually called police. When cops arrived, Tameka was nowhere to be found.

The next day, Usher called police again after he noticed several scratches on his truck — Usher told cops he believed Tameka vandalized the car in retaliation for their fight just hours before.

I feel sorry for their children…and for me, because I know this story is only going to get worse each week.
