While some may suggest that she’s likely brokenhearted about her divorce, with word that she’s been planning this move for a while one can’t only think Shaunie’s smiling because the dirt that keeps coming is making her settlement look all the more lucrative.
First, there was word that Shaq was cheating on Shaunie with a woman named Laura Govan, who just so happened to be both Shaunie’s friend and Gilbert Arenas’ fiancé.
And now there’s talk that Shaq has a live-in girlfriend – some stripper he met in Cleveland.
The YBF put Shaq on full blast writing:
Our reliable source who’s been giving us all the Shaq/Shaunie/Laura (Gilbert Arenas‘ fiance) drama just gave us some more juice. Mr. O’Neal has some other stuff brewing in Cleveland, besides his new divorce papers from Shaunie. We’re told he has another woman–and her one year old baby–living with him in Cleveland. And she’s a stripper who formerly worked at The Diamond Club (now called Tiffany’s) in Atlanta. Remember those rumors a while back of Shaq messing around with an exotic dancer? Seems there may be some truth to it…
You would think after Karrine Steffans wrote about their sordid affair in a best-selling book that Shaq would learn to keep his business private (or you know, not cheat on his wife).
To those who might ask, “What about their pre-nup?” word is the person who drafted it used some sketchy terminology that completely nullifies the agreement. Ergo, it’s a free for all and a messy public divorce never turns out well for the cheating husband.

Love of money is the root of all evil. Taking Shaq to the bank!! Divorce is always bad on the children but to bitter public divorce could adversely affect the children.
Get what is reasonable hers and move on.
who cares about the money. It’s sad and he coulda put her life in danger. I hope the other woman was worth it. I would never strip but who cares if she is a stripper.
Stripper or not, he cheated on his wife. Granted, I ain’t a saint but I do believe marriage should be between that man and that woman. If you are unhappy, then man-up and leave her but don’t be a punk and cheat!

I really just don’t get it; if you have to cheat man or women on a spouse, leave them first. When you cheat you just put other people in the middle of your drama, its just no worth the pain, or the headache. Shaq won’t come out of this smelling like a rose he, will be paying out the nose, what happen to protect yourself and your family? Is there any more loyalty in this world? I guess he thought the pre-nupe would protect him and that he could do what he wanted in his marriage and that he would never have to pay in the event of a divorce. I don’t know if it was ever verified Shaunie cheated first, it was the suspicion surrounding her fianances that led to the presumptions of cheating. But it had supposedly been reported that Shaq was cheating before that and has been ever since that time.
Shaq is the biggest loser in all this. I don’t care how much money is involved.
Ninety-five percent of the ballers have the nerve to think its about them. It has always been about their pay check. That’s really foul with all the “girls” out there, he betray a fellow baller. Most famous athletes are serial cheaters. For them, cheating is breathing. I feel sorry for the wives. They can’t compete with this level of narcissism.
hell they made kids together but she married him for the money too.kobe was right about shaq when he cheated on shaunie with superhead! most athletes will cheat outside their marriages but most of the wives stay with them for the money. oh well shaq will pay for this and most of us don’t care bout celebrities. celebrities are nothing different from regular folks. if you don’t want to be married, don’t get married and stay single. she’s going to take him to the bank and wipe him out for good!

All this talk about money! And!! Yes money is an assett that can not be ignored in this case. That said, money will not do the “work” it takes to properly raise these children. How many checks have you seen nurse a child back to health when it’s sick? How many checks have you seen attend a childs play or recital? NONE! We can say what we want, all a child wants is for the parent to BE THERE!
I can’t balme one without blaming the other. If it takes two to make a marriage then it takes two to break a marriage. Bottom Line!
My heart hurts for the children. As a woman, I feel Shaq should give Shaunie enough money to maintain their lifestyle and for having his children alone (ouch!) and four at that! Some men are just never satisfied. Shaq is a freak of nature and should not be doing harm to anyones heart. He should of could of known better.
He is not fine at all and it takes money to really want to be with him in the first place. So he deserve whatever the outcome maybe. He should of let her be at fault and he would of benefit more from the seperation of his marriage.

shaq is no foll, he will give her a nice settlement in excess of 8 figures($10mil-$90mil). they were married in 2002 so she is entitled to half of his earnings. prior to that 1992-2002, she has no legal recourse on those earnings. i am pretty sure shaq ahs more money she does not know of.

My question again is Why do people get married anymore? Especially, if your worth any money. They need to re-write the divorce laws. This getting money just because it’s over is ridiculous. Stay out of other people’s business. I don’t know what is going on with Shaq and his wife but that is their business. Who was there to know exactly what or is going on with them. If she gets any money at all, we will never spend a penny of it. If he cheated who was there but him and the other person so once again people need to get a life and stay the hell out of other people’s.
