MOTHER DENIES ACCUSING RIHANNA OF STUNT

THE FACTS
The mother of Jasmina Anema has distanced herself from a Twitter post questioning Rihanna’s motives in befriending her child.

THE SPIN
The story of Jasmina Anema became a national phenomenon once Rihanna used her celebrity to help lead a bone marrow drive for the 6-year-old who bravely battled leukemia.

Yet sadly, Jasmina died in January and over the weekend her appropriately frustrated mother took to Twitter to vent. Unfortunately, that vent was directed Rihanna’s way.

Thea Anema tweeted:  “It has been a month since Jasmina’s passing. Still not even a card or text message from Rihanna. Did she use my child for a publicity stunt?”

The note has since been deleted, but was retweeted by several users.

On Monday, Thea posted the following: “Apparently there are some negative blogs out there. For the record, Rihanna has been nothing but really nice!!!”

With respect to Thea it wasn’t “negative bloggers” who put that message out there.

In an email to PEOPLE, Thea explained that while there are no hard feelings she does remain somewhat disappointed.

She said:

“Friends have helped me with all kinds of stuff and many know the passwords to my personal e-mail, the Caringbridge site and also Twitter. Although I did not Tweet this particular one, I do wish that Rihanna had responded to me on Jasmina’s passing. It would have meant the world to me.”

Jasmina adored her. Rihanna was so kind to come and visit her. I just felt hurt not hearing anything from her. Or of any other celebrities for that matter. The only ones who reached out to me personally during this time of grief were the Obamas.”

A source close to Rihanna defended the singer:

“She really loved this little girl. It was hard for her to deal with a child passing away, especially a little girl she had come to care for so much.”

JERMAINE JACKSON’S THOUGHTS ON MJ’S DEATH

THE FACTS
In a recent radio interview Jermaine Jackson shared a theory about the death of his brother.

THE SPIN

As I watch this video my eyes shift to the side.

Jermaine Jackson gave this interview to an Australian radio station and revealed his belief that Dr. Conrad Murray didn’t act alone. So who’s responsible? Oil spill head wouldn’t say. All Jermaine would say is that Michael always felt “they” were trying to get him and that the “truth” would reveal itself in due time.

Gee, thanks, Jermaine. That really helps settle that.

I hate when people throw out random conspiracy theories and are super vague when you ask them to elaborate. Unless you’re dropping names keep this to you and the cashier at Kim’s Beauty Supply, JJ.

TABLOID: WHITNEY HOUSTON COLLAPSING ON TOUR

THE FACTS
Rumors circulate about the health of Whitney Houston.

THE SPIN
The National Enquirer won’t let Nippy be great, ya’ll!

Let them tell it the second she steps on stage she’s about to drop to the ground (and not in the good way like me at the club).

Here it goes:

Whitney Houston’s physical condition is so fragile that alarmed family members begged her to put off her worldwide comeback tour, insiders say.

But the R&B diva — determined to jump-start her once red-hot career — refused, and then stumbled through the tour’s kick-off concert before suffering a horrifying collapse backstage, according to a source.

Now experts predict Whitney – ravaged by drug addiction, an abusive marriage, family stress and a stalled career – has just five years to live.

“Onstage, Whitney was obviously exhausted. She struggled to hit high notes, sweated profusely, wheezed through her songs and tripped over her own feet,” disclosed an insider.

But the biggest drama unfolded moments after the 46-year-old singer’s last bow during the Feb. 6 performance in Seoul, South Korea, said the source.

“Whitney walked backstage and folded over like a paper doll. She braced herself against a wall and screamed for water,” the insider revealed. “In between labored breaths, she choked, ‘I don’t know if I can make it through all of this.’”

Here’s a video of her recently performing “I Will Always Love You” in Korea:

Now while Nippy may sound like death, she looks healthy to me minus the coughing and her complaining she’s hot. That doesn’t read as a sign of foul play to me; it just shows you Whitney really doesn’t care what you think and will say whatever she wants. I’m surprised she didn’t pull her wig off.
