They both seem to have a thing for messing with married people. Fortunately for Swizz Beats it doesn’t result in a firing – just an angry soon-to-be-ex-wife.

For Def Jam exec Grace Miguel, though, her extracurricular activities are rumored to have her now needing to file for unemployment.

“Things just got real with Usher’s budding relationship with Def Jam exec Grace Miguel.  Our extremely reliable source who works at Def Jam tells us that L.A. Reid forced Grace to resign last week.  And yes, it was mainly-if not all– because of the bad press they’ve been getting after her relationship with Usher was made public. Womp womp.

Oh, but it gets better.  Said source confirmed for us that Usher not only cheated on soon to be ex-wife Tameka [Raymond] with Grace, who is 12 years his senior…but Grace was indeed married at the time as well.  She filed for divorce conveniently around the same time Usher did.  Tameka was also married and “filing for divorce” around the same time she and Usher got together.  Now that’s karma for that ass.  But for who exactly?  It’s actually seeming like Déjà Vu…”

What is it with this dude’s obsession with married older women?

In an interview with JET magazine, Cissy Houston discussed her role in Whitney Houston’s rehabilitation.

THE SPIN
Mama Houston believes she was “summoned” by God to save daughter Nippy from destruction.

In an interview in this week’s JET magazine she spoke on the fight to get her daughter back on the right track.

She said: “It was very difficult to show tough love. My heart was breaking. I sometimes wonder how I did it.”

If you caught Whitney’s interview with Oprah, you’ll know Cissy showed up to Whitney’s house with a sheriff and court injunction to get her help.

Although she says the time was a rough period in her life Mama Houston says she’s “proud” of her daughter’s “strength and courage.”

While she still gives God the glory (should I ask for a shout right now?) she also wants to thank those fans who prayed for her daughter.

“I thank my family and everyone who prayed along with me during that time for their support,” Houston said.

On his Twitter page, Fabolous claims to have been poisoned.

THE SPIN
Over the weekend there was a rumor that Fabolous was in a bad car accident. As it turns out, he was but the facts were misrepresented. According to Fab what actually happened was that he was in immense pain that forced him to pull over while driving. After stopping he called for an ambulance and was rushed to the hospital that same night.

Via his Twitter:
“I’m ok everyone..thanks 4 the concern. I was not in a car accident, but I think i know where it started.. Let me explain,” the rapper Tweeted. “I was drivin yesterday morning & started feeling very sick & felt like I was gon pass out while driving.. I veered off 2 da side of the road.”

While he recuperates at home, he’s spending his time throwing out auspicious conspiracy theories.

He tweeted:

“I believed I was poisoned so I checked in & was given medical treatment..a lil sedated so I didn’t tweet but was released 2 go late last nite.”

Maybe he was at a restaurant and some waitress just so happened to be a Bow Wow stan who didn’t appreciate Fab going in on Shad recently for the world to see and retweet.

Or he possibly just ate something foul. I try to tell folks about those hood Chinese spots.
