THE FACTS
After initially reporting injuries stemming from a minor car accident, it has been speculated that Tiger Woods’ wife may have attacked him in retaliation over reported infidelity.

THE SPIN
As nice as it was to have a famous athlete of color not marred in scandal it seems Tiger Woods is now joining Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and so many other superstar sport stars on Front Street.

Over the weekend it was reported that Tiger Woods was slightly injured in a car accident. He swerved and hit a fire hydrant, which was said to have caused the lacerations to his face. His wife, Elin Nordegren, told Windemere PD that she went inside of her home to get a golf club in order to free her husband from the crashed car.

However, she said something else to the Highway Patrol. Now it’s since shifted to “see what had happened was” Elin became enraged over a National Enquirer story about Tiger cheating on her and she went ballistic.

She scratched Tiger up like she was the one born with claws, then proceeded to grab a golf club and channel her inner Jazmine Sullivan.

The reported mistress in question, Rachel Uchitel (who was lucky to not be around the premises), has denied claims that she and Tiger were getting it in.

She told Usmagazine.com: “I did not have an affair with Tiger Woods. I met him twice and have not heard from him since.”

Tiger’s mother-in-law doesn’t seem as convinced.

She told Us, “This is a private family matter. I’m praying for everyone and everything to be OK. Please let’s just leave it at that.” She dismissed claims that her daughter busted Tiger’s windows as “gossip.”

And Tiger himself released a statement yesterday via his Web site:

“This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.”
I don’t know if it’s true or not, but if it is, Elin, you messed up. That’s now how you win a big payday divorce settlement. Then again, Tiger probably had you sign a pre-nup. I’d  be mad, too. Either way, shout out to Elin who has now proven to the world that it’s not only black women who will act a fool if you act out in a relationship.

Last week Rihanna had an interview with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez.

THE SPIN
Rihanna’s been sort of working my nerves with her interviews lately. She’s a lovely girl, but there comes a point when you want to say, “We get it. You like sex. You’re a bad girl. You really like sex like those bad girls.”

Having said that, Rih-Rih gave Angie Martinez a much more introspective interview than she’s been giving lately (besides Diane Sawyer, of course).

On the flack from the Diane Sawyer Interview
I expected that. It’s an obvious thing to do. They think that I have an agenda to destroy his career and that’s not what that interview was about for me. There are more creative ways to do that. That interview was solely about these young girls. Just inspiring them and being the voice for them and talking about my situation so that they can have something to hold on to. The hotline went up crazy because finally they had the courage to call the hotline and say “I’m going through this, I want to get out of this relationship”. I mean women who wanted to commit suicide so say what you want but we are saving lives here.

On taking responsibility for being in a dysfunctional relationship:
It was a learning experience for the both of us. There was a lot of insecurities and control issues but it was definitely a learning experience because in relationships in the future I know to watch out for certain things. A lot of those were signs. I learned that in the end. There were signs.

On being a role model:
What’s your definition of a role model? I represent a lot of things. I’m also realistic in the lifestyle. I’m not a saint and everyone knows that. I can only be myself. It’s nothing I want more than for everyone to be themselves. Another thing, for the past 8 months, everything I’ve been through, It’s led me to this whole “I don’t give an F” attitude because people say things all the time. Even when you try to please them, it’s something else so the only thing you can do is be you. They are always going to say something so all I can do is be me.

On Dating Tristan, Drake, Rasheed, & Andrew
I don’t have [Tristan's] phone number. Give me someone that’s hot and older. Me and Drake are still friends actually. [We hung out] a few times but no, never. Rasheed Lewis. Never even met him but apparently I was trying to break up his family. Andrew Bynum, we went on two dates apparently. Never met him either. I’m actually not dating. I just flirt…

On her break up with Chris Brown
It was difficult. It was a difficult process and a long one. Also my music helped me a lot. Being in the studio was therapeutic. I got to vent. There was no cameras, there was no media. You don’t even realize when you are okay cause in your mind it’s just a fight non-stop with yourself trying to get through it and then one day you’ll see something and it doesn’t have the same effect on you as before, it’s like “wooooow”. I’ve gotten over it and now I’m free of that.

She also noted that she’s not a lesbian, not Satan’s daughter, and yeah, talked about sex some more.

Fantasia Barrino denies dating a married man.

THE SPIN
Fantasia Barrino would like you to know that the rumor of her dating some married man she met at T-Mobile is false. It was reported that she met the man at the T-Mobile store, fell in love and then got his name tattooed on her shoulder.

But she tells Honey magazine: 

“Yes, the rumors were all really cute to me. I guess it was something about a guy from T-Mobile? Inaccurate. He was hot, but I think I’m looking for my own man. There’s no boo in my life, I’m married to my career. Right now I’m not really focused on a boyfriend; we all know what happens when you get them… I have no tattoo on my shoulder, [that rumor] was very well put together! I wear my body out more purposefully now and when I’m walking I see people checking, “Like does she have a tattoo there?” As a matter of fact, I’ve never even met him before. I think I’d want to be with a guy who’s in the same tax bracket as I am … or higher!”

So wait, he’s hot but you’ve never even met him before. And you’d rather date a man who’s in the same tax bracket as you (or higher), but wasn’t one of your homes in foreclosure last year?

No shade, because I’m aware you’re currently making more money than me, but flossing tax brackets with foreclosures on the books is asking for trouble.

Fantasia has a right to keep her private relationships private, but her publicist should watch statements like these. And who’s on the set, for that matter. I recall reading that the mystery man with the hookup on cell phone bills was spotted at the Honey shoot with Fantasia.
