Rihanna has been instructed to tone down her sexual attire for a performance in the UAE this week.

I’ve seen more movement from a three-legged dog than I’ve typically witnessed from Rihanna on stage.

The girl is pretty, has good songs (she got my .99 cents for her last album), and has a label willing to shell out big bucks for on stage theatrics. Yet that poor girl still couldn’t outperform Beyonce even if you limited Beyonce’s budget to an old fan and her three cousins.

Rih-Rih usually gets a pass because she distracts people by wearing next to nothing on stage. It helps place the focus on her body versus what she’s lacking – stage presence, choreography, a voice that sings on key consistently. 

But come New Year’s the pop star is going to have to learn how to step it up as a performance because butt cheeks and breasts won’t be saving her this time around.

Rihanna is set to be paid $500,000 for a New Year’s Eve performance in Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, the second-largest city in the United Arab Emirates.

They don’t play that nakedness over there so Rihanna’s going to have to keep warm and warm the hearts of concert goers another way.

Rumors claim the supermodel is on the verge of bankruptcy.

While Tyra Banks rides off her talk show into the sunset next season, it seems her old “rival” Naomi Campbell may need to be dropped off at the unemployment office.

I’m not even sure why that is because as one of the longest running working models ever I can’t imagine exactly why she’s said to have money problems. Especially when you consider she has a married, but very wealthy, Russian boyfriend who should be sponsoring her entire existence.

But, that’s the word, ya’ll – Nay Nay needs come cash.

We’re told some of Naomi’s close associates had lunch with a group of publicists this past Saturday morning. And thanks to our source’s eavesdropping ear, the group was overheard complaining about how busy they will be after the [New Year]…because Naomi will file bankruptcy.

They didn’t talk details but members of the group said Ms. Campbell will file sometime before or right after the New Year. Guess all those legal woes over the past few years cost her an arm and a leg. No wonder she’s not letting her Russian billionaire boyfriend out of her grips. We’re not 100% sure about this one, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Naomi made a big announcement about her money situation (or a marriage) very soon…

I’m still confused. She constantly works so why is she about to file for bankruptcy? Has she had to break off that many ex-assistants she beat up with a Blackberry?

Nay-Nay, I suggest you make the most out of this new TV venture you have going in the U.K. That or you better put in an extra-stroke for your man because being broke after that many years of high-profile modeling gigs is not the business.

Oh…and buy an iPhone. Less damages when you get sued again.

Taja Riley has filed a restraining order against her father, Teddy Riley.

THE SPIN
I’ve heard that folks get riled up while playing Rock Band, but it’s not worth catching a case over.

Teddy Riley has been accused of using a guitar for the game to attack his daughters.

TMZ reports that Teddy’s 18-year-old daughter Taja Riley was granted a temporary restraining order against her dad after claiming the 43-year-old producer abused her and her older sister by “stomping, punching and bashing them” in his L.A. home on December 23.

Really? We’re beating people with video game accessories two days before Christmas?

In court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Taja claims at one point Teddy, “lifted a Rock Band guitar and threatened to kill person(s) w/ it.”

Taja claims she suffered several injuries including “bashes to temple, contusion on face” and “pain in knee.” Teddy has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Taja.

And I was just listening to “Groove Me” this morning. Way to kill the mood, Teddy.
