I can see why Elin might be ready to break free from Tiger. We’re up to 14 alleged side pieces. That’s more than enough to piss someone off enough, right? I’ve never met the man but I wouldn’t be mad if I never went a day without looking at his face either.
No wonder someone close to Tiger’s wife is saying, “She plans to leave Tiger.”
I guess that rumored pay up to stay with him isn’t working as another source told People, “She’s made up her mind. There’s nothing to think about: he’s never going to change,”
And obviously someone up on game Elin is said to have already discussed renegotiating her pre-nuptial agreement with lawyers in South Florida.
All I have to add about this is congratulations on winning the lottery, Elin. I’m sure a rich, blonde, high profile divorcee such as yourself will be just fine in the dating pool.

Elin, should not be so quick to make her decision. She should try to weigh things out before filing for this divorce. It’s to early to determine things. I’m not condoning what Tiger has done. But, I think the media is putting the pressure on making these people lives complicated. There’s marriages that has survived from adultry.
Mrs. Woods should of known when she made her choice to marry a high profile man like Tiger, there was possibilities for him to step out of their marriage and have an affair.
This woman was not a teenager or new to the world, so she need to hold her horses, and if she do decide to leave than she should leave with only what she bought into the marriage.
I think she should leave with enough money to make sure that she and her children are fine, it doesnt take millions of dollars to raise a child but im sure she will go for it because she is angry, lets face it if he had multiple affairs then he should be single and just enjoy himself, If it was just one mistake It would make sense to work it out but at this point its clear that he is a dog so let him roam and move on!
I find it hard to believe that Elin married Tiger simply because of love. Money, fame and status were major contributing factors.

If this was an engagement than it should be others have a right to add their input and opinions, but Elin already said “I Do” that means even for the worse not always for the better. Unfortunately, Tiger appears to have had a rather protective childhood. It was simuliar to michael Jackson’s..Golf is what he did all his childhood. When he became a man and out from his parents control…….he went crazy. Granted, he should have waited to get married, but maybe that was at parental suggestion that it was time to marry and settle down. Tiger does not appear to be slick enough to cheat. Ms. Brenda Hall, I like your thinking! As brutal as parts of my own childhood was, at least it did prepare me for the real world. It does seem that Tiger was taught to golf but not much else. Let me also say that it is rumored that Mr. Woods wasn’t exactly faithful to his wife either.
As for Elin, your words is exactly what should happen. Just because you were the wife and had his kids and was cheated on doesn’t mean you should be taken care of the rest of your life. As I said on another board, Muhammad Ali was arguably worse than Tiger as he had affairs all over the place during his heyday as champ!
Also, if (and I stress if) the parents pushed him to marry, that was a big mistake! While I do think you should always honor your parents, I think parents should teach their kids at a certain age that they are responsible for their decisions. Marriage is a decision that should be made by the two parties involved, not the parents. Granted, in some countries, marrigaes are arranged and do very well but not so much in this country! LOL!
Anyway, if they did, that was a mistake. If Tiger knew he still wanted to mess around, he should’ve stayed single.

I’m not going to knock your veiws. You shouldn’t knock us black women on this site for ours. Maybe, you’re about “Money” and some of us is about holding our family and community together.
Second, I know my “greatest assets” and that’s my children as a “sacrfice to God”. Given them a healthy and balance life and also demonstrating love to them. That’s my job as a woman. Long as the man is not pounding me with his fist or bringing these women home in my face and calling me out of my name, than we can work these things out without getting a divorce. Knowing that love is long suffering and for better or for worse.

Interesting. I’m just wondering how Tiger’s financial status can be attributed to his marrying “Blonde Becky”. She certainly didn’t earn the money for him, and he was already a millionaire with endorsements before he’d ever heard of her. He also has the reputation for being a frugal guy; so, his reaching billionaire status was imminent regardless of whether she showed up.
Sorry, I’m just not with the golddigging thing. Although I believe that women who get involved with – and have babies by – trifling men are dumb, I have no more respect for women who put a price on their love and bodies. These women actually devalue themselves when they choose men according to dollar signs, rather than his character and whether he treats her with respect. If all she’s able to see are $$, she’ll certainly overlook or not be able to recognize and appreciate decency. That’s the price of being a user.

Now, this isn’t like (for example) Juanita Jordan and Michael Jordan. Juanita actually helped Michael build up to where he was and what he became financially so I didn’t have a problem with her getting what she did (reportedly $168 million) but Tiger was a billionare long before he met Elin. She should get something equivalent for 4 years! That’s it! After that, she’s on her own. The rest of the money should go into a trust fund for their kids.

Rance, you and Karen sound like good women. Too many times in my own life, however, I have ran into women that look too much at how much money you have or your status and not enough at how much of a person you are.
