It’s been alleged that Trey Songz and Drake are having differences over Songz allegedly asking too much of Drake’s assistance.

THE SPIN
It seems there may be a dent in the friendship between Drake and Trey Songz. It’s apparently over Trey wanting to milk Drake’s success and Drake wanting to focus on his own burgeoning solo stardom in light of all the hype behind his forthcoming solo album.

Trey Songz and Drake have been strong supporters of each other since early on. Trey helped Drake out by jumping on his first single way back in the day and recently Drake returned the favor by guesting on Trey’s new single. However I have heard that recently there has been some tension between the two…

From what I am hearing Trey has been asking more and more of Drake lately not surprisingly due to his current hot place in the game. At first Drake was more than happy but I am told that Trey recently approached Drake for an entire duet album together, best of both world’s style, and Drake declined. This has led to a little friction and so far Trey and Drake have not been talking much at all in the past few weeks since this happened.

It only makes sense for Drake to cover his own ground before thinking about duet LP’s and all that. Hopefully these two can patch it all up and make nice before this goes too public…oops too late!

I don’t know how true this is, but I wouldn’t mind a duet album between these two. They work really well together. I can’t think of any bad collaboration that they have recorded.
