DID JAY-Z GET DJ FIRED?

THE FACTS
Rumors claim Jay-Z got radio jock fired following controversial interview.

THE SPIN
Days after his interview with Beanie Sigel, Charlamagne Tha God posted a Tweet announcing that he had been fired from 100.3 The Beat out in Philadelphia.

Immediately there was speculation that Jay-Z had something to do with it given he wasn’t exactly happy for Beanie to try and air out their dirty laundry on-air and ultimately online.

So did Hov have him fired?

The ex-Wendy Williams sidekick wouldn’t say it himself, but he did re-tweet someone who did:

Speaking with XXLMag.com, Charlmagne told them:

XXLMag.com: On Twitter you said the station wanted to “go in a different direction.” What exactly happened?

Charlamagne: This morning, right after the show was over, the program director came in and was like, “Yo, can we talk to you.” You know how it goes down; they tell you, “Oh, we love you, we love everything you’ve done for the company but we just moving in a different direction.” No reasoning [behind it], but it’s always like that though. I will never know the real reason, but I can speculate…

XXLMag.com: You think it had something to do with the Beanie Sigel interview last week?

Charlamagne: I don’t know, that’s what I’m hearing but I don’t know how true that is. I don’t see why that woulda been an issue. I would hope that the powers that be, like Jay-Z, wouldn’t be that petty. But you never know.

I don’t actually believe Jay-Z would be that pressed about it, but everyone loves a good conspiracy theory.

Sounds like something political with his bosses. Doesn’t sound like anything that Jay may have said or done but you never know.

I believed he did. He is SATAN. Jay-Z has a lot of pull and I think that if he doesn’t like something he will do things to get what he wants even if it means paying someone off.

I believe Jay Z did it as well.

This is a question that doesn’t even need to be asked. Typical Industry Politics..When a heavy hitter isn’t happy measures are taken…

Anyone heard anything else from Dehaven? His rant seemed to quietly get swept under the rug but he was so gung ho about exposing Hova..what happened to him? lol

Dear Editor please read your quote:

“I don’t actually believe Jay-Z would be that pressed about it, but everyone loves a good conspiracy theory.”

Dear Editor you know that isn’t what you really wanted to say I understand there is a recession and everyone needs thier job

oops not “Editor” but journalist my bad

there is no such thing as a coincedence, seems like JayZ had something to do with this

I don’t know if he is guilty of doing this, wouldn’t be suprised if it was so. I will say I am so very tired of this whole “elite big boss” mentality that seems to be continuously spewing from all things connected to the music business of Jay, Bey etc…whomever. This idea of “run this town” has gone a tad bit too far. Why are people acting as if these human celebrities are some kind of super power immortals? Why are we putting these people on pedestals as if they have all this power?
They are overexposed and I have reached burn out level from hearing about the same boring celebs.

Too much drama!

I agree with Mar totally. We give them more power that they deservie. They are not different than anyone else except they have money. Money can’t buy everything.
