The rapper reportedly threw a tantrum over being bumped from first class.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six Kanye cut up at LAX this week.
They report:
Kanye West is a finicky flier. A source said the rapper threw a fit at LAX Monday night on his way back to New York from the Grammys after he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first.
“He wanted to be bumped up,” says our witness. West and his aide were eventually moved to the better seats. A rep for Kanye — who garnered widespread condemnation over his onstage outburst at last year’s MTV awards as Taylor Swift accepted her award — didn’t get back to us.
You know what at this point people need to leave the man alone. He’s rich and wants to fly first class. I don’t blame him. Don’t you get free alcohol in first class? I wouldn’t know because I sit in coach for now and I bring a flask. Well, not really but I might look into it now that I’ve written it.
Seriously, though, it looks like some members of the press are obsessed with blowing every ‘Ye related event out of proportion in order to make him look like a monster.
Maybe he simply wanted to be sat in the section he paid for?
I get pissed off when I order a wing and I open the bag and find a greasy thigh. I feel Kanye’s pain in my own special way. Don’t you?

Its a little of both. While Kanye DID have a right to argue about why he was bumped, he could’ve handled it more quietly.
But I do agree the media is almost obsessed with blowing up every incident he’s involved in. If he were a private citizen, nothing would be said.
I don’t care for Kanye and part of me believes that he brought this on himself BUT this is a bit much.
I think the media is just waiting for something to happen so that they can continue to make him look crazy for upsetting there American Blonde hair blue eyed Sweetheart! haha!

TRS, yep. And if they say it has nothing to do with the incident with Taylor Swift (especially if they are from FOX News), I’d say they are either a liar or are factually challenged! LOL!
Thing is, Kanye did stuff like this BEFORE Taylor or even before his mother passed away. No one really paid any attention to it until the Taylor Swift incident. Not taking up for him because he brought it on himself but the only reason the media is going after him now is pretty much revenge for picking on a young white girl! Yeah, I know she’s 19 and technically an adult but that’s still a child to me. Again, I wonder if it had been Keri Hilson (for example) he did that too would anything had been said?
Ervin, it seems the only thing KW accomplished from that incident is to help make the girl a household name. I’d never heard of her before that happened. Now I hear about her all the time.
You’re right, though; this isn’t new for him.
It’s common knowledge that alcohol removes inhibitions, so if he would go into treatment for alcohol abuse, I think he would be better able to control those impulses.
Ervin, I remember him doing a couple of other rock groups like that. One time he didnt win an award and he went on stage took the mic from the white guy told them they know his video was better and then walked off the stage. The year after or the same year same thing happen and no one said anything.
Rance to me Taylor Swift can not sing all that great. I had not heard of her either, Until KW called her out.LOL…

Summer, I still don’t know what Taylor Swift’s music sounds like, but I saw this morning that she’s going to be in the ‘Valentine’s Day’ movie, coming out next week. The timing of that KW occurrence couldn’t have worked out better for her.
I still thinks he needs to stop acting out like that, though…find something to with himself.

TRS, he did it years ago when he didn’t win a new artist award. It was Gretchen Wilson! I remember how Kanye threw a fit.
Like I said though, that was a grown woman and it wasn’t really directed at Gretchen so much as at MTV. It didn’t make the waves that the Taylor Swift incident either.
What’s funny is that I have white friends who also don’t think Taylor can sing that good and have said the only reason she’s got fame now is because of the Kanye West incident! Now, I don’t think that’s totally true but it isn’t totally false either.
Bottom line is Kanye needs Jesus, Allah, Buddah or something to ground his behind!
Kanye having a legitimate gripe, he has to learn how to approach things without the anger; I guarantee you if he was polite, not belligerent in trying to resolve the problem, the media wouldn’t even know that this happen. He needs to get some counseling in how to handle conflicts, or as my great grandma would say “Learn to catch more bees with honey than @#$&”!
OK, what exactly did Mr. West do that would qualify as a tantrum? I mean let hear the facts before we make these judgments. This is poor reporting because all the writer is saying is that Mr. West wanted to sit in 1st Class.
Hell, if I paid for first class that is what I would want. Even if I was a flyer who flew as often as Kanye did I am sure he has achieved frequent flyer status that would afford him such upgrades as well.
So again what was it the Kanye did wrong?
Also if you read the readers response they question if Kanye was even at the Grammy’s. Sounds like someone needs to go back to journalism school.
Ervin, You are so right about that. Kanye is always being tormented by the media, after the incident with the little white girl. They just can’t seem to give it a rest. Even though I’m no advocate for Kanye, but I will defend his actions. Some of the stuff that’s being reported about him lately is ridiculous.

It’s possible that the media, or whoever passed the story to them, could have embellished much of it; but, this is exactly why he needs to keep a low profile for a while, so that he won’t continue to be such an easy target. If he doesn’t tone it waaaay down, then this will be only the beginning. He’ll be the male version of Naomi Campbell, getting accused of something every time he turns around.
Berry, this is exactly why Kanye needs to keep a low profile. The media, no matter how true or false a report is, will blow it up. He needs to sit back and lay low! At this rate, he’ll be forgotten in about 5 years. No one will remember the music, he’ll be remembered as the negro that interrupted Taylor Swift if he keeps this up.

lol! kanye is a mess is how i feel! but thats my opinion and im entitled to it..as well as he is! i think kanye has taking his power and money and respect a little too far…he’s rude at alot of times…and i think he personally needs to chillax! take a chill pill it’s not that serious! last but not least i do believe they are treating him a little more unkind because of what he did to taylor swift!
Leave Kanye alone. He’s entitled to rant. We didn’t know who taylor Swift was before his outburst.
