Lawyers representing a make-up artist and stylist suing Queen Latifah for back pay have spoke to the National Enquirer.

So a make-up artist and a stylist are suing Queen Latifah claiming she owes them $1 million dollars combined. Roxanna Floyd says she’s owed $700,000 on work done between July 2005 and February 2008.
Stylist Susan Moses says she was cheated out of $300,000 during that same period. While the lawsuit has yet to go to court, it’s already spilling over into the gossip pages.
Apparently the two are threatening to go public about Queen Latifah’s private life if they don’t get their cash.
Lawyers for the two told the National Enquirer, “Whether Latifah is gay or straight has absolutely nothing to do with our clients claims,” though they added that “Latifah’s personal life could become an issue in the case as it relates to her treatment of another stylist.”

I agree it really doesn’t matter what her preference is, she’s a great woman regardless n I think if these women are willing to tell her personal business instead of being professional I think says a lot about their character or lack there of!
This sounds like a clear case if haters to me. What does revealing that portion of her life have to do with them getting money? If they do, they will end up owing her money for defamation of character.
Of course Queen Latifah is a LESBIAN. She doesn’t want to come out of the closet because she feels her fans and black america won’t be accepting of her questionable lifestyle. She’s a hot mess and just should come clean because WE already think & know this. I for one am sick of the media glamorizing homosexuality like this is the way things were intended. The only relationships intended were between a man and woman.
I don’t think the media is glamorizing homosexuality. I think the media is finally taking a step in the right direction–moving toward acceptance and open-mindedness. As long as we remain close-minded about other ways of living, we are guaranteed to condescend, and respect dissapates. It no longer exists. No one is asking you to agree or disagree with homosexuality, we’re just asking you to respect it and to respect people. I think it’s despicable how, in this day and age, people are saying that the only relationships intended were between man and woman. That’s like saying the one “true” religion is Christianity. It’s not your right to say. Don’t forget–just 50, 60 years ago, people used to Bible to justify laws banning interracial marriage. But now, interracial marriage is accepted, and anyone with a brain knows that it’s perfectly fine. Homosexuality is going to be like that one day–people are going to realize that there’s not one clear way to live. And that in the end, gay, straight, Muslim, Christian, white, black, we’re all just people. And respect is what makes the world go ’round.
It’s clear Briana is clueless, if god intended for a woman to be with another woman or a man to be with another man. Then they would be able to produce children. Drucilla said it right, god put man and woman on this earth for a reason. However, we are not the ones to judge, everyone have to answer to god for themselves. While some of society accepts it, it still doesn’t make it right.

I didn’t disrespect anyone. My opinion is as valid as yours. You have the right to agree with homosexuality and I have the right to disagree with it. My standpoint is yes the media does accept this type of behavior. Back 20 years ago, it would have been unheard of to broadcast same sex relationships but now we make movies about this? Brokeback Mountain anyone? Please I ask, what’s the purpose of that? I will never accept this practice however I will respect people because that’s the right thing to do. I’d like for someone to explain why they have to “come out of the closet” What closet? If this was natural as with heterosexual relationships then why hide what you are in the first place. Because it’s wrong. I’m not asking you to agree with me but I am asking that you respect my viewpoint as I will yours.
I’ve always felt Queen was gay!! However, I’ve always respected her as a artist of movies and music. My mother and I love her. Do I agree with homosexuality? No! But I do respect anyone that is like that. As Re stated they will have to give in account to that one day just as the rest of us for our wrong doings. Queen life style has nothing to do with who she owes money to. If it is true, the one’s that are suing are ignorant!!

It is one thing to respect that you have a different viewpoint. It is an entirely different matter to say you will never accept this practice. Same-sex relationships are as natural to the people in them as opposite-sex relationships are natural to you and to me. Back 20 years ago it would also have been extremely rare to see an interracial couple on TV. Back 40 years ago, interracial couples were “in the closet”. Thank god the times are changing and people are becoming more accepting of people who are different from them.
Perhaps people should read the book of Solomon. It clearly states that if a man lays with a man as if he were a woman, his soul is damned….the only one who Queen has to answr to is God.What is her side of this crazy mess? She may be paying them, she will get it right back for suing them.
I think that it is very sad that we live in a world where we have to attack each other and embarass one another so make a profit. I’d hope that this is just a misunderstanding or oversight and they will get it settled soon and not by way of embarrassement. I realize that celebrities have a difficut time trying to maintain a private life and unfortunate TRASH sells. There are many days I wished that I had more but then some days when I read about how celebrities are trashed, ridiculed and embarrassed I don’t know how much I could endure. That’s why I always believe that God makes no mistakes, he has us where we need to be. I wish that everyone in Latifah’s circle will take care of everythin in her best interest so that her private life will remain private. Whatever she shows the public about her is all I want to see. I would hate for anyone to know about personal details of myself that I consider to be private.
I think Queen is a wonderful woman, and it does not matter to me what her preference is , she is a phenominal actress and should not be looked upon as some gay freak. it is true we are not here to judge her for that is not our job. But let’s just respect her for the person she is today.

I defintely agree.. To the other ladies who say homosexuality is “natural”, there is nothing natural about it, its a sin. Not saying that to judge for that is not my place. Also interracial relationships may not have been “acceptable” but they were never morally wrong, a group of people just decided to interpret and manipulate the words of God to suit their own agenda. So its hardly the same thing.
I agree with Tony in that homosexuality is NOT “NATURAL”! We don’t even have to bring our spiritual faith into the conversation. Our ANATOMIES alone PROVE beyond a shadow of doubt or beyond one’s deception that there is NOTHING natural about homosexuality. The “part” of a man is made for the “part” of a woman. To do anything else is simply unnatural and grotesque.
This will not change my opinion of the Queen, she is great actress and wonderful person.

I agree, whether Latifah is lesbian or not, is so insignificant to this situation. She has prospered into a strong, talented, and intelligent woman. I think she is good role model to young black girls. I say let the courts handle this issue suit and let Latifah go on being a PHENOMENAL WOMAN.
