Shyne will reportedly be deported to Belize.

It looks like the fight to keep Shyne in the U.S. following his release from prison has failed.

Shyne’s team is fighting to stay in the US where his mother and his grandmother live and where they raised him….but it seems like he’s going to have to continue the fight from Belize. Shyne will be released from Immigration custody but will then be deported to Belize soon. He has Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree advocating on his behalf in concert with his legal team. They’re still urging fans to reach out to Governor Patterson’s office to petition for Shyne’s pardon (click here for Paterson’s email and his address) but deportation is imminent.
Miss Info also asked Shyne’s friend, Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez on his mental state.
Angie said:
“Shyne is one of the strongest people I know and he’s handling this situation just as I’d expect him to. It must be frustrating for all of his friends and family; he served his time, and keeps getting all these different dates and conflicting information. But he’s a soldier, he’s dealing with it.”
Now, regardless of whether or not Diddy Bop should’ve gone to jail, too, sold Shyne out, or however you feel about it, Shyne has done his time and he is talented. Moreover, he seems to be a lot different coming out of jail then he does in.

Why is it when black people of any kind have to be deported, but any latino can not only stay, but prosper like no body’s business? Why can’t we support one another? What is this self hatred? No one has to be against us, we are so against ourselves.
Miss Brown I am sure if a Latino who was not a naturalized citizen shot somebody they would be deported too. We got too many American criminals we do not need to harbor guest who want to disobey our laws and endanger the lives of innocents.
This is not a Black thang it is a legal thing.

By the way Shyne is from Belize. Belize is in Central America bordered by Mexico. So Shyne is Latino.

I don’t think he deserves any special treatment. If average Joe were to do what he did they would have been deported also. I know some one that was caught with a gun and was deported. It’s not black or white it’s the law, send his $ss home. He don’t know how to act here send him home.
Belize is indeed in Central America, but it is not a Latin Country. It’s official language is English and it is the only non latin country in it’s region. So Shyne is actually not Latino
Sad to say we have people who lives here in the U.S who have been here their whole life and still don’t know how to act.So it doesn’t matter were you come from or even whatever race you maybe or who you are, it’s their spirit that’s not right the spirit come up out of us and shows who we are but this is just me but i don’t thank that he needs a change of address i do believe that he needs God to come in and do some work. When you’re in the corner and have got no money to get out from that, you will need to receive the business loans. Because that would help you definitely. I get student loan every single year and feel OK just because of this.
