Chris Brown used his Twitter account to complain that his new album is being under stocked by major retailers.

In yet another glowing example of why most celebrities need to delete their Twitter profiles, Chris Brown has lashed out at the retailing industry for what he feels is a blatant attempt to black ball him.
That of course, is the smartest thing a person with obvious anger issues should do. He comes across as a self-important smart aleck with false sense of entitlement.
Yeah, I said it.
I understand that he’s apologized – on several occasions. Some people don’t believe him. Such is life. Actions have consequences. Sometimes long-term. And honestly, maybe, just maybe his sales aren’t so high because unlike the last two go rounds he didn’t have a major crossover hit single flooding the radio. Maybe “the incident” has something to do with it.
Or perhaps someone should let him know that his ex-girlfriend – you know, the one he hit – isn’t really selling a lot of albums this time around either.
Oh and if you’re wondering, Chris Brown addressed people like me who dare not to not grovel at his impressive feet:

Your life is pointless, eh? Anger management has taught him well. Look, based on what some fans have tweeted back to him he has a point. But, let your label handle it. Running off at the keystrokes on Twitter is only going to empower the very people he feels are out to get him.
So far this dude has talked slick about Oprah, BET, and now the people who hold the fate of his career in their hands. At this point he should be grateful he can show his face let alone release an album this year. But hey, maybe my life and this post are pointless, too.

Dumb move! While what he is saying is true, let’s be honest, no one is paying attention to him this time. I mean, R. Kelly was under suspicision of child molestation and he still sold solid numbers so it is possible.

Shock, I agree with you. I’m glad he said it, it shows the hypocrisy. MOVE the HEll on! I’m tired of him apologizing, he’s giving the media way to much power. Anger management teaches managing anger, it doesn’t teach you not to become angry. HE’s HUMAN, he will get angry that’s inevitable. TV One, why do you find pleasure in others misfortunes? Oh, I forgot to post this before I go, Jonathan Togo, plays on CSI, was charged with FELONY domestic violence this weekend, $50,000 bond. Let’s see how much the media (black or white) rides this. Or if he has to apologize a hundred times or will he loose his job on CSI (Prime time tv)! Oops, nevermind you probably didn’t even hear about it. It won’t be that big of a deal, he’s white.

As for the media, they didn’t ride James Brown or BeBe Winans like this and they did just as bad! And don’t get me started on Rihanna herself. While she shouldn’t have been hit, to me, she ain’t a victim because she provoked a lot of this prior to Chris snapping. Walking away (while it is the best thing to do) is easier said than done. I had a girlfriend similiar to Rihanna’s alleged behavior. Trust me, they don’t make it easy at all. Plus, people are slower to step in when its the woman that’s the aggressor.
Again, I don’t condone CB’s behavior at all as he should’ve walked away. But I don’t consider Rihanna a victim at all because she was just as guilty as she was hitting him as well. I feel the same way about Elin Woods in relation to her actions on Tiger Woods too.
We do agree on one thing though. TVOne as well as a lot of media outlets have spent WAYYY too much time on both stories. Time to move on.

I also agree with you that Chris does need to shut up about this and let it die down. Everytime he opens his mouth, he brings all of it back.
While I do believe that he was provoked by Rihanna, let’s face it. You hit a woman, you are going to be the bad guy, even in self-defense (which this clearly wasn’t).
I wish Rihanna would shut up about it too because in reality, she isn’t doing herself any favors either.

OK…here’s da deal Chris Brown has apologized many times and served his hours for what he has done and I forgave him because we all make mistakes in our life, but I also feel that the language he used and the negative energy he is giving off isn’t appropiate during this time…there are still many ex-fans who have probably read this and feel that he is unsincere and just apologized to get people to hop off. I really think he should just lay low for a while and try not to say/do things that would put a negative label on him.
Update: I read on another blog he deleted his MechanicalDummy twitter account. Smart Move! I guess his PR team finally decided to wake up! He made comments against store outlets not stocking his music and now the outlets are responding publicly to his comments.
First they complain about a black man not having a job and then they make it hard for this black man to want to do his job….can’t win for losing either way.

I 1000% agree with you on the double standard. The example you gave about Elin WOods is right at the heart of the matter. I frequent several other blogs (I know, big surprise, right?
) and you would be amazed and disgusted by the women (primarily Caucasian) who say that they would have done WORSE to Tiger in the same situation. Elin’s acts are NOT being criticized, and, IMO, that’s wrong. BUt, as we know, we’re dealing with a situation of a different “color”…. how could the “beautiful” Mrs. Woods /possibly/ do physical harm to her cheatin’, lyin’, no good man? BTW, is anyone else bothered that she tried to put him on blast because he had had alcohol during the day? WTF was that about, if not trying to make it worse?
