HOW WILL YOU REMEMBER MICHAEL JACKSON?

Thousands were thrilled at the chance to see him perform one last time in London and millions set back anticipating an even bigger comeback but he passed away before any of that could happen. Altough we’ve known Michael Joseph Jackson for most of his life, it still seems as if his time with us was far too short. No matter what people think of Michael, he gave his all through his charity, his life and his music. That’s how we choose to remember him–by the skinny scarecrow in The Wiz, the dancing genius and the singing sensation that he was.
How about you? How will you remember Michael Jackson? Tell us here.

I Will remember Micheal as the fine as he was in all his music. Even when he changed himself to white he was still fine. I just found him so adorable even when they accused him of being a child molester he still looked so innocent and pettiful like a child himself.I loved that Man.
“May the one without sin cast the first stone”. Who are thou accusers?
I will always remember Micheal. The most important time would be for me.When he perfored with his brothers. He was like a dream you couldn’t catch.I never believed those things about him and even if they publish a book I still wouldn’t believe them. Micheal was a true, pure genius. There will be no one in this world like him ever. Allah! Keep him!
Without all or any of such negative on the True and Only real ICON of the music industry. Michaeal Jackson was the Only King and I do not believe their could ever be any one to be equal or surpass what he was or what he did in this world! I grew up Loving him and all he was, then my Children and now Grandchildren will,as well. I never was able to see hime live but with all the records, shows, and videos, it did not matter…. I felt him, yes, like millions of others and I think we should all be Thankful for him and his Genious, all that he shared with us an always Celebrate him. Much Love to Micheals Family… He Shall be With Us.ALWAYS!
Michael Jackson is one of the biggest Icon’s in the Music history from today and the Past. I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson and i will remember Michael Jackson when did the Moon Walk for the first time at Motown 25. There is only ONE KING OF POP MICHAEL JACKSON. My love to the Jackson Family and long live Michael Jackson RIP.
Micheal: Another day has gone
I am still all alone
How could this be?
Jesus, you are not here with me
They said you were crucified
You never said good-bye
Please tell me why
Did you really have to go?
And leave my world so cold
Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did my true love just slip away
And than Jesus whispers in my ear and says:
Jesus: “Micheal, you are not alone.
I am here with you.
Though you seem far away
For you I am here to stay
But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though it seems we are far apart
Micheal, you are always in my heart
Indeed Micheal, you are not alone”
Micheal: Jesus just this Wednesday night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
To hold me in your arms
I can hear your prayers
” Micheal, your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then “Forever can begin”
Every day I sit and ask myself
How did my love slip away
“Micheal, you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though it seems we are far away
I am here to stay
Angels: “For you all are not alone
For we are here with you
Though we seem far apart
You all are always in our hearts
Jesus: “Micheal you are not alone
Just reach out for me in the afternoon
It will be no bother
I will take you to “The Father”
…..And on 6/25/09, Thursday afternoon at 12:17 p.m, Micheal Joseph Jackson’s spirit was indeed accompanied
by Jesus, The Christ, to our “Father”
Love, Peace and Joy…….Rene (Dr.J)…..”God Is”…that is all.
I will remeber michael jackson for his music the effect that he had on the whole word, the man who served his country by giving back. Please remeber that God put him on this earth to give us a piece of him God didn’t have to do that but he did and all i have to say is thank you God for michael jackson love always
I will remember all of it. The music, the dance moves, the controversial life, every bit of it will be part of his legend.
In the end though, he is the King Of Pop. RIP.
I will remember the cute little boy I grew up with through he and his brothers music by the music catalog I have with all his songs in it. I wish that I could have had the chance to talk to him early in his life to tell him that it didn’t matter about the color of the skin or the nose, be who you are and love yourself. I feel for the mother because I know the pain of losing a son. The music industry has lost a great talent. The world has lost a great philanthropist. He’s not just the King of Pop, Michael Jackson is simply The King, the greatest entertainer ever lived.
Much tears right now. We will miiss you Michael. If we could achieve 1/5 of what you accomplished with your music & philanthropy and breaking the color line with MTV. Think how effective we would be as human beings on this earth.
The service was a beautiful, phenomenal loving tribute to a loving, super talented man. Someone recently hurt me badly due to betrayal and I was holding onto so many negative feelings. I felt like I was actually at the service today and now I only feel sorry for Paul who could not appreciate the deep love that I have for him. Life is too short to harbor feelings of contempt. Thank You Michael Jackson for all of your love.. IT IS CONTAGIOUS!!
We have had the final curtain call, he has had his last performance. I don’t know about you, but I give MICHAEL 4 stars. Thank you the JACKSON family for allowing us to share your time of sorrow. My family and I watched the entire MEMORIAL and it was truely fit for a KING. If any one had any doubts about the lives he touched please watch his service again. Thank you for this one last time. God bless all of you. As JERMAINE said keep smiling he would want that.
Give me a break!!!
How can a black man who bleached his skin to look like a another race (a race that once regard us a N; lynched our brothers for simply looking at a white woman) and pay a white man (men) to produce children in his name be nothing more than a greatest evil to our race and especially those who fought for our freedom.
Celebrate his music not the “man.”
MICHAEL THE MAN WAS A HEATER OF HIS RACE.
Where do I start…I will remember classic Michael first and foremost, and I will always remember his kind heart and youthful personality that made him so much fun to watch. And how can anyone, male or female, forget that gorgeous smile of his that made everything seem alright. But having said that I will remember that I should try and be a better person, because that was what Michael stood for. Rest in peace Michael we love and miss you.
GET OVER IT WILL IT IS FINISH THATS YOUR ISSUE NOT MICHEAL JACKSON…. I”m pretty sure you have a few white girls out there yourself and children that you probably don’t even claim or take care of so you are a HATER of your race.
Micheal was a strong and surviving Brother regardless of the skin bleaching he still gave a lot from the depths of his heart to EVERY MAN WOMAN AND CHILD GLOBALLY. He looked at life with his HEART not the color of ones SKIN. Read your Bible THE BEATTITUDES Matthew 5:3-12). Micheal was only out to do God’s will in his Ministry of music.
I will remember Micheal Jackson as a person that broke barriers as our fore fathers did. He stood up to all and kept his eyes on the prize. He open doors that were close. Micheal was dreamer with a dream, we must keep it alive.
The memorial service was beautiful, fit for a king. I am a 31yr old mother of 3 and I can remember gathering around the television w my mom and grandparents to watch the premier of michael’s new video. As a young mother I would play his cd’s and dance w my daughters. People were amazed that my 5 yr old who is now 13 would compare every song she heard to MJ and say Michael is still the greatest entertainer ever. Michael’s music and presence made time stand still, brought families together and made people celebrate life and love. Yes he is the King, the greatest entertainer who ever lived and a great humanitarian, but he is also an angel sent from heaven above. Yes we miss u but we also rejoice for now u make beautiful music for the king of kings and his high court. We love u MJ
I will remember him for his humanity and music
KAREN C:
“I”m pretty sure you have a few white girls out there yourself and children that you probably don’t even claim or take care of so you are a HATER of your race.”
Pretty sure? You have just proven your inability to have a genuine/intelligent discussion/disagreement via cyberspace.
I am “pretty sure” you are one of patients.
And, Karen C next time you attempt to have a discussion, please try you best to argue the issues raised in someone else’s posting and not the individual — even though I am “pretty sure” you are very intellectually challenged.
i am only thirteen years old and i started crying when i heard the news. The Michael Jackson i will always remember is the scarecrow in the wiz. When I saw that movie I would always make my mom rewind back to youcaint win over and over and over again. The first two days after I learned of his passing were filled with video watching and me trying to soak up every ounce of his music that I could because I felt like because he died we would loose every great thing he has ever given us. I was wrong. He will live forever through his music and through his many loving fans. May he Rest in Peace.
Will, thats whats wrong with the World too many intellectuals, ppl like yourself that think they know something and know nothing at all. Judge and you will be Judged. I don’t care about the women that the Late Micheal Jackson involved himself with or paid to have his children. Whatever choices he made thats something he will have to go before the “Judgement” with God his “Creator”. I’m pretty sure while Micheal Jackson was here on Earth he suffered internally. Who are we to pass Judgement on any Man/Woman the same measures that we judge a person the same amount we will be giving in return, so this has nothing to do with my intellectual level its what I feel in my heart for a Man who is no longer here on Earth to defend himself.
LET THE DEAD BURY THE DEAD. Now it is about us how we going to complete our journey and how we are going to Die.
Lets just appreciate his gift of his Music and talents he brought before the Lord and love him as ourselves our Son, Brother, and Friend.
Sorry Will but Michael is one of us whether you like it or not. I will agree that while something wasn’t right upstairs, I only hope he now has peace. To be honest, I don’t really care about who he had kids with or his skin turning white. It doesn’t matter now because he’s gone.
The one thing I WILL agree with you on is the music. His legacy there can’t be touched.
I will remember Michael Jackson’s phenomenal, electrifying, unprecedented, performances. In addition, his music will forever be the soundtrack of my life. R.I.P. Michael Jackson aka the undisputed King of Pop.
I will remember Micheal”Mike” Jackson as the one who was a gift from the throne for all the world to witness greatness!
There is Michael Jackson the entertainer -Awesome, electrifying, superb. And, then there is Michael Jackson, the person — outrageous behavior, alleged child molester, drug abuser, addicted to plastic “unnecessary” surgeries (simply to change his outward appearance).
For example –A person who robs and kills others in order to feed and clothe poor neighborhood children should not be lauded while ignoring his crimes
The way I’ll always remember Michael Jackson is by the career M’m currently pursuing. Ever since I was little, I said I wanted to write an article about him. He inspired me to become a journalist…at four years old! Now 20 years later, I work at a local newspaper and got my chance to write that article. Forever the King, this one’s for you Michael:
http://www.tacomaweekly.com/article/3279/ (link to article)
M’m—should be I’m
The Thing That ill remember was the way he danced he was the best ever hands down ,we all saw greatness at its rare form ,forever love Michael Jackson.
to anybody who he keep saying all this crap about him being a child molester and a drug addict you enrage me to no end. Even in his death no one will give the man a break. To all those CNN reporters saying they think he overdosed on drugs on purpose and that he was unhappy you don’t know anthing. Unless they were with Michael before he died or thet in head his head they have no idea what happened or what he did or did ot want to happen. I’m tired of peoples disrespectful assumptions. I don’t care if he molested those children right now because there is nothing we can do about it. Right now all we can do is celebrate his life and remember his legacy. Can we please just give him his final peace.
Daisy:
And how do you know that what is being reported (child molester/drug addicted) is all crap? Were you with Michael defore he died or in his head. If you wern’t you “have no idea what happened or what he did or did ot want to happen.
Why do you want to celebrate the part of MJ, his music, while dismissing the other of MJ, the alleged child molester and drug abuser. MJ was not a half-a-man, he was whole so don’t erase the unappeal part of him.
Celebrate his achievements but mourn his darker side. By highlighting his darker side, you might be able to save someone else from making the same mistakes.
I am amazed that some folks are still being critical of MJ even while he is being laid to rest. Get this, when a person has given their life to make the world a better place through whatever medium there is, especially music like MJ did, there is a rule that should be followed: “Do not speak ill of the dead!” Show respect for the life they lived, good, bad or indifferent, and as Big Momma says, “if you can’t say anything good, keep your mouth shut!” End of story!
At least Micheal Joesph Jackson had his real family name and when he performed he gave his fans his very best and his utmost love for their support. He didn’t use profanity, and didn’t disrespect women.
If he did use drugs or drink as what the media “GUTTER RATS” put out saying about Late Micheal Jackson he done that behind the scene and not all up in front of the public and young impressionable minds besides it’s not what you do it’s how you do it.
He didn’t put dollar signs first!!! He just Loved his work. He was real real real.
My first and greatest impression was seeing Michael Jackson perform solo on Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever! I fell in love with the entertainer in him and fell in love with his wonderful personality throughout the years. I will never forget Michael. He is my American Dream. I love you Michael. See you in the afterlife!
I will say that to me Michael Jackson is not gone. I have been a fan of michael’s for years from the start to the finish his music, dancing, video’s and if you watch him he was obsessed with transformation into sand, ghosts, panther, zonmies and for me he has just transformed into another being. he is not gone he has transformed i dont have to remember him as he hasnt gone anywhere in my mind and in my heart.
Jen:
no one sasid i was dissmissing everything that people SAID that he did true there were accusations made and they may or may not have been proved. He was never proven guilty of being a child molester and right now they can not be sure that he was a drug addict. If all of that stuff was proven to be true than yes I would would choose to remember those things too. Since no one could prove it right while he was alive i don’t want to remember all of the things that he was accused of but what people could be sure of about him. It was true that he was a giver and an amazing preformer and artist. I won’t even try to say that he was an amazing person because i have never known him and that would be an assumption.
I’ll remember Michael Jackson as an immensely talented performer with a heart of gold. People talk about the financial problems he was having but fail to understand that his generous heart was part of the reasons for his financial woes. I’ve been blessed to be old enough to have seen the Jackson Five from the very beginning. I could not believe the vocal range of that little Michael!
I will remember how the American press continuously attacked him (and continue to do so even after his death)… still not realizing that this man was a national treasure. He was an ambassador to the entire world for America, and the people here just could not grasp that fact. People in Europe and other countries truly appreciated him. They’re the ones who gave Michael the nickname of Jacko. It was the press HERE that added Wacko in front of it. But, just like Reverend Sharpton said, he wasn’t strange… he had to deal with the strange.
All of his energy still amazes me! That man could dance… and could truly move a crowd. He was a showman! I will always remember the moves he had! I’ll remember the great respect he earned from his peers. Immitation is the greatest form of admiration; and, we all know how much he has been immitated by others.
Plus, Michael had a humorous side. I’ve seen it in a few rare recorded videos.
And, I’ll tell you one more thing. Just like JAMES BROWN, there will NEVER again be another MICHAEL JACKSON!
Karen C: “it’s not what you do it’s how you do it.”
Ludicrous –I can kill a person by overdosing with drugs as long as I don’t put a gun to his head.
Daisy: “Since no one could prove it”
So all the doctors, his body guards - people who closer to Mr. Jackson than any one on this site are all liars. Do you know the job of a anesthesiologist? It is abnormal for such doctor to work out of a medical facility — surgical or where someone needs to be sedated.
I am guessing when the toxicology report is released if it proves Mr Jackson was abusing drugs, with the help of his enablers it will be a fabrication just like Anna Nicole Smith.
Mr Jackson death was not from natural causes. I know, it is “taboo” to focus on the alleged drug use of Mr Jackson.
To do so is to diminish his musical greatness. This is preposterous. Mr. Jackson is a extraordinary entertainer, no question about that but he has made choices that were irrational, bizarre and engage in activities that compromise his status as a great entertainer.
The same is true of Steven McNair a great sports figure and look at his demise.
The sad irony is that CHILDREN are involved. Image the scar it leaves on those children. Your father died form drug overdose or he was killed by his lover.
I will continue to promote Michael in the positive light he deserves! RIP MJ. Get your tshirts here http://www.mjacksontshirts.com
Will, Those children one day may grow up to understand that life can become overwhelming and can drive a person to the point of no return and Prayfully, they will be able to distinquish good value judgement.
The late Micheal Jackson wasn’t an addict that’s just coming from “Media” and their hype to make money and win ratings.
I will always see MJ as a child in the pureness of his life End of Story.
That was truly sweet Rene.
At the memorial celebration, Kobe Bryant relayed the fact that Michael Jackson holds the Guinness record for the most charitable contributions by a pop star. The first on his list was UNCF. So, Will, how much have you given to UNCF or any other charity? And how are you edifying your people by demonizing one of our most beloved ‘national treasures’ as Mr. Deloatch stated so eloquently? C’mon Will. I do agree with you, however, that Michael’s obsession with plastic surgery was probably a manifestation of hatred. But for himself. As tortured as he was, Michael always worked it on stage. To the nth power. Time, money, talent…he never stopped giving.
I will cherish Michael Jackson as that sweet little boy with whom I first fell head over heels in love. Someone with the voice of an angel and the heart of a lion. My world will never be the same without him.
Peace!
i will always remember michael jackson as a talented genius. he was the most exciting entertainer that i have ever seen performed. my only regret is that i have never seen him perform in person. it is so sad that he is no longer with us in life. the way he died was a tragedy. and the fact that some people will stoop so low to tarnish that poor man’s repetition, all in the name of greed and power. i know that the first time he was accused of being a child molester took alot out of him. it was unfortunate that jackson did not fight back. but he did came out swinging the second time he was accused though. in spite of the fact that what happened to him was a pure and simple set-up, michael jackson will always be the king of entertainment. he was truely the best!
i will always remember micheal jackson as the father
will you are a assssssss hole he didnt bleach his skin he had s skin disease
DAILY,EVERY SINGLE DAY GOD WAKES ME UP. COOKIE FROM B-MORE.
I just got to say Micheal Jackson bro, Rest in heavenly peace. That brother Micheal was “BAD”. Micheal had a lot of us fooled he was private, and he left the rest up to us to try to figue him out he told his story in all his Music. He had feelings and hurt just like anybody else but he did that alone between him and his God. He loved very much, but he knew that this World was not his home. I’m not “gay” but he had me crying over him when he died. Those Jackson brothers was smooth in the days coming up every black family try to be like them I don’t know if any of you on this site remember the “Silvers” the song the “Hotline”. They was trying to imitate the Jackson Five but they didn’t make it as far. Micheal took it all the way to the top. He just couldn’t do no more he “said” in promoting his 5o tour concert, “THIS IS IT” he was saying Good bye than.
In conclusion, Micheal will live in many hearts of those who followed the journey through His life.
God be with the Jackson Family.
I will remember Michael Jackson just as it was said at his memorial “The World Greatest Entertainer”. Michael was in our house ever since I was 3 years old. I use to sing his songs, move to his beats, never did the glove thing. lol Wow, this is so unreal. Sometimes I feel like crying because of how everything went down in his life. Its sad how the media, other did wrong things to this man. When you look at the facts I ask the question “What did he do to deserve this?” Now that he’s gone the boy has come forth and confessed. All the time Michael said “I didn’t do it, I’m innocent”. It seem like from that point until his death life for Michael has been rough. What is up with our society? Any successful blk person male or female appear to be a threat. All he had the tried to take it and break him. They just couldnt rest until the stripped him of everything. How do u feel now? I beleieve in my heart Michael just wanted a peaceful life. Why couldn’t people be more understanding of who he was? The media is making me so sick of how they are reporting the news even today. When will they stop. To say his daughter was putting on when she spoke is so cold. This man can not even rest in peace. What is wrong with this world. How will I remember Michael, the greatest musician ever, a son, a father, a giver, a supporter, a peacemaker, a man that just wanted to live in peace, the man that the media and other put down and try to take all he had even after his death, the man that was accused of something he didn’t do, but most of all I will remember Michael as a child created by our God who many misunderstood.
I could help but to comment about the fussing going on between two people. I this a line to send comment or a chat line? Whatever you two are going back and forth about bring that shit to another site or exchange e-mail and set up a date.
I will miss Michael I grew up with him. I don’t know him personally but I like I do. I remember him and his brothers on the Ed Sullivan show Apollo and American Bandstand. That was a long time ago. He will be missed in every nation! He was a Icon. Michael is like our Elvis. I feel for his family i know what they our going through, I too lost my brother. May Jehovah God be with the Jackson family.
I remember when it would be announced that Michael had a new video coming out, everyone stopped whatever they were doing to watch because each video was more spectacular than the previous one. I remember watching Motown 25, I was 17 and in the hospital. I had just had a baby and was scared, but when Michael did “Billy Jean”. When he did that moonwalk, I lost my damn mind and forgot where I was. I jumped out of bed and danced all over that room. Till this day, when I hear “Billy Jean”, I lose my damn mind. I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that he is gone. Micheal and the Jacksons have always been a huge part of my life. I think he is really happy now. With God, he don’t have to be anyone but Michael. R.I.P. KING of POP
Marquis,
I quess that comment was about my posting to the “Hater”. I’m cool just trying to get some negative people out of this site. It’s about sharing our precious memories of Micheal Jackson.
WE WAS A MISSING FOR MR. MICHEL JACKSON, AFTER HE LEFT TALIBAN MEDICINE DOCKTOR. TALIBAN DOCKTOR SAY: GO HOME EAT MANY, MANY PILLS AND BE HAPPY. BUT MICHEL JACKSON WAS NOT HAPPY. NOW WE ONLY HAVE MONEY. ALLAHU AKBAR
That is not FUNNY!!! TalibanLove or who ever you are this is some serious stuff.
This Man should not be made fun of he had a disability that we in Society ignored, because of his wealth.
Micheal developed some kind of mental disorder over the years and it was not taken very seriously.
As a child Micheal seemed to have had been normal, but as he became an Adult he did not know how to handle life pressure, and the problems he was facing he seem to have kept everyone else happy except Micheal.
Even his Father Joe express that His son was about trying to help everybgody else.instead of us listening we keep focusing on the negative side of things of calling him the Abusive father. Maybe Joe was hard on those children, but he probably made that peace with his Son people do change. I saw him in the Court supporting his family when Micheal was going through his trails.
I don’t find making these silly jokes at anyone who had a sickness that was not treated properly to be hilarious.
I hated even when comedians cracked jokes about him when he was alive. He was a Human Being and he had feelings just like anybody else regardless, Micheal Jackson was someone Son,Brother and Father. We need to have learned something about what we have saw of Micheal that know one Rich or poor should be overlooked or underlook at when you see changes in their behavior patterns. We should be concerned and be diligent when we approach the problem, not putting them on full blast. Micheal expressed that on his Last interview with OPRAH.
I don’t want to hear anymore about him being a freak, wierdo or Wacko Jacko for God Sakes enough is enough his corsps is DEAD. He was a decent man and he never openly disrespected anyone else work or efforts ONLY time Micheal got anger publicly with anyone it was with Sony Tommy Mattolla and that’s when he was going through his trails with the Child Molestation.
Have some kind of respect for those that Loved and cared about this Brother like his Family and Fans if you didn’t like him than stay off any of the Bloggs about him.
HE WAS A HUMAN BEING!!!!!
I remember the day I met Michael, was in 1977 at Hallamrk Gallery, NYC. That day I will never forget. He was a very nice person to me and my friend. When we walked in he told the security to leave us alone and that it was ok for us to come over to talk with him. Above all his achievments that he accomplished and pose on him toes, what stood out amongst all was he was a nice person.
I have went to alot of sites that had tributes to him, where was everyone when he needed help four years ago. Alot of his fans and close friends turned their backs on him, and now they praise him in death. I don’t get it and I guess I never will.
Michael, RIP my love you are with the angels now and in no more pain. Thank you for the wonderful conversation we had then, it will be in my heart forever. Thank you Michael for everything, you were truly a nice person with a big heart.
Bonnie
I agree with Alex.H a million percent on her comment just up and above.
As the greates entertainer ever point blank period

king of pop the greatest
Losing Michael was like losing a part of myself. Michael’s music has been a part of me since birth. Whenever i was having a bad day listening to an MJ song always made things better. Michael will never be forgotten and never will he be duplicated. I’m still in mourning weeks later.
Dear Will, you are judging Michael Jackson, just the way that the Police & a white store owner would judge you if you walked in with your hat 2 the back, saggy jeans & big white t-shirt. Let’s leave the judgment to God.. Let’s also focus on his giving spirit. He will go down in the Guinness book of records as the celeb that gave the most to the needy around the world. Will, what are you doing to make this world a better place. Even Allen Iversond gives back. Let’s talk about something worthwhile, like what contributions have you made to society and/or your community, that will bring about positive change.. Maybe you should start with THAT MAN IN THE MIRROR!! Being judgmental & critical of others don’t count..!!
Despite the negative press and the haters, there will always be far more people that LOVE, ADMIRE & CHERISH his contribution to music, history & “HEALING THE WORLD”. I learned some time ago, you will always have critics when you have something special; but you have to forget about them and be the best that you can and despite MJ’s struggles with all of the judgment and accusations, he continued to love, care, give and be the best he could be. To watch all of the hits, the dancing & the videos in the past few weeks, I am still in awe of his talent… No matter what the reports turn out to be, I will still remember him as a legend, who made a major contribution and in his words “made this a better place, for me & for you & the entire human race”..!!!! 4ever in my heart… REST IN PEACE
i just wanna die…i can`t stop crying! I feel like a part of me is gone now and i`m alone,i`m lost..
I miss him so much!
