Joe Jackson has sued Michael Jackson’s estate for allowance.

On Friday Papa Joe filed a court petition asking for spending money from Michael’s estate, claiming his son had supported him for many years.
In his legal filing Joe claims Michael Jackson’s estate has earned an estimated $100 million since Michael’s death and is expected to earn another $100 million by year’s end.
In other words, “Hell ya’ll got it, why not share a lil’ bit of it my way?”
And the AP reports:
A declaration accompanying the filing states that in the early 2000s, Michael Jackson paid Katherine Jackson roughly $50,000 a month and that amount grew to $66,000 per month later this decade.
The declaration claims Michael Jackson knew some of that money was passed along to Joe Jackson to help him pay his expenses, and the suit says those payments have now stopped.
Joe claims Michael would tell Katherine to give Joe half of that money.
So what does Joe Joe need the money for? Here’s a list of his expenses:
$2,500 for eating out
$2,000 for airfare
$3,000 for hotel rooms
$1,000 for groceries
$1,200 for rent
$50 for charity
$2,500 for steak and shrimp, $50 for the homeless. Classy.

Give me just the money for eating out! That’s enough for me to pay my electric bill, water, phone, DirecTV, school loans, my lone credit card and I STILL would have enough to put away into my savings, IRA and whatever the hell else I would need or want to do! Joe needs to get a grip.
He does not deserve no money from Michael’s estate period. Michael put his mother, Katherine, in his will not his father. After all the hell he put Michael through by physical and mental abuse on the poor boy, he does not deserves shit in my book. He needs to stop trying to cash in on his son and start acting like a father who really cared for his son instead of money all the time. He did show any kind of support to Michael’s movie,”This Is It”. Michael’s brothers did. What kind of father is he. This does not make him father of the year.
I think he should receive a small stipend. He is a parent of advanced age. Michael Jackson did not omit him from the will like he did Debbie Rowe. He just didn’t mention him in his will. So, he may have some favor on his behalf. He’s not my favorite Jackson, but, there would be no Michael Jackson nor Michael Jackson estate without Joe Jackson. In many interviews, Michael Jackson attest to that truth.
He needs to sit his ass down. He should get nothing! Bottomline, Michael didn’t mention him at all, he mentioned Katherine and the children. He omitted Debbie Rowe because of the possiblity of custody issues. She is the mother of two of the children, she was not to get any money even if she would have fought for custody. If he had wanted Joe to receive anything he would have stipulated this. I’m sure he has helped some of the brothers as well does that give them the right to go against the wishes stated in his will? Should they go to court to ask for a stipend?
He has seen the money coming in from movies and memorabilia sales and he wants to benefit from it. Joe is a opprtunist always has been.
I agree with everyone’s statement except for K’s. I became totally disgusted when I read about this.I can’t believe that Joe Jackson can feel that MJ is indebited to him anyway. And we all know MJ wasn’t providing crap for his father luxurious lifestyle he’s trying to live(broke down player he’s trying to be). I’m not going to say that MJ may have helped him out from time to time, but you better believe it wasn’t on a consistent basis. I’m sure the class act that Mrs.Jackson is she gave money to Joe Jackson because he knew better than she did when the money that MJ would give her was to come and he probably harrassed her to death like a junkie needing a fix. It’s a sin& a shame that he exspects anything from the Estate of MJ. Yeah the truth of the matter yes maybe Joe originally was the one who birth the idea of his sons becoming a band/group because he saw the potential for money to be made, and that’s all it’s ever been about for him, but the reality is MJ’s money making ability really developed when he broke away from his micro managing, money hunger father and went on his own, Why do you think Joe Jackson become so angry when MJ finally severed his ties from his father managing him?(Janet was no fool, she knew exactly what to do when she was considered to be old enough according to legal standards). It is MJ who built his empire not Joe Jackson. Correct me if I’m wrong the reason for a will is to give to whom you want to have;it’s not by mistake or error that Joe Jackson was left out of his will, MJ intended to leave him out just as he did. I have never known such an oppurtunistic, selfish, greedy, by any means necessary, I’m going to get mine person in all the days of my life. No wonder MJ would get physically sick when he was around his father, just imagine being raised by a parent who only sees you as a means of support!!
Oh and as far as Debbie Rowe is concern it wasn’t about the custody issue, she never wanted the children for herself, have you not heard her say “Those are Michael’s children; he didn’t leave anything to her because she was paid well for having the children so there wasn’t a need to include her in his will.I pray that MJ’s soul is at rest with all this craziness that’s going on!
What a peice of work Joe Jackson is.
He’s not getting anything except a swift kick to the pants. Go and do some of your own work and get paid for it. How could he even fix his mouth to ask for anything if he did do this? Is it me or does he have a striking resemblance of The Joker on this photo?

Joe Jackson will be alright, I know his family is not going to leave him out regardless, of how we all feel. This is a family matter. We don’t have any say so about how Micheals estate should be distributed.
I am so ashamed of Joe Jackson. Why couldn’t he work this out with Katherine somehow. My fear it that this repeated arguing over money between the Jackson may impact the children.
More than ever, I see why Michael was not involved with his family.

Judge Beckloff denied his bid
Superior Court Judge Beckloff : “I don’t think he gets to step into this and create further litigation,” the judge declared. “Joe Jackson takes none of this estate. This is a decision his son made.”
Why does a person with no job have hotel and airfare expenses? Where is he going?

Wasn’t Joe Jackson boasting about his new record label just days after Michael left us? What happened with that little venture? Knowing of Michael’s and Katherine’s huge-heartedness, I suspect Pops has already gotten much more than he deserved from them. Perhaps that’s why Michael completely excluded him from the will. Maybe he could qualify for a ‘crazy check’, as my grandma would say. That would be SSI for mental illness. Man is truly a sociopath.
