THE IRS TO NAS: ‘HAHA, MADE YOU LOOK’

THE FACTS
Nas owes over two million in back taxes.

THE SPIN
I don’t know why celebrities try to entertain tax evasion. The government always gets their money. Wesley Snipes learned his lesson, Method Man is currently being taught his, and now Nasir is entering the class.

TMZ obtained a federal tax lien filed last month against Nas for a $2,584,206.31. Mr. Jones failed to pay his taxes in 2006 and 2007.

In others words, Nas is a slave to a page in Uncle Sam’s rhyme book.

I wonder will this tap into Kelis’ alimony and child support.

Either way, this one goes out to you, Nas:

KELIS WANTS EVEN MORE MONEY

THE FACTS
TMZ reports that Kelis and her attorney are requesting additional alimony from Nas.

THE SPIN
So I’m not going to chime in with Method Man and Redman’s misogyny-inspired rant about baby mamas milking their men for all of their money, but isn’t over $50,000 a month in child support and alimony more than enough for someone to live off of?

Apparently not if your Kelis and her attorney, Laura Wasser.

TMZ reports that the two have reviewed Nas’ financial earnings, and based on their findings they conclude:

– Nas pulls in $244,826 a month
– Kelis rakes in a relatively paltry $13,744 a month
– Kelis should get child support totaling $17,225 a month
– Kelis should get spousal support totaling $72,728
– Nas should pay retro child support totaling $29,522
– Nas should pay retro spousal support totaling $281,571

Really? She deserves that much based on two years of marriage and a baby who currently requires breast milk for meals?

NAS: I WAS A GOOD HUSBAND

THE FACTS
Nas refutes claims that he cheated on his wife and is a bad father.

THE SPIN
A few months ago Kelis tweeted about cheating men and most assumed she was talking about Nasir.

Well, Nas seems to think the same, and has finally decided to respond to accusations he dipped out on her and was a bad husband.

In an interview with Straight.com, the legendary emcee (for raps, and now child support payments) said:

“It’s funny that someone would even care about some Nasir Jones s–t. I’m still that kid from the block at the end of the day.… So when I watch this s–t, it’s surreal. We get a good laugh off it and say, ‘Hey, they’re talking about me again and it’s some funny s–t.’

It’s unfortunate when business is out there about your personal s–, especially when you’re really not the guy to be having his s–t out there.

The sad thing is, you’ve got to get used to it. My skin is so thick that I probably need to write a book for people who are not ready for anything crazy.

I heard that I was a cheater. It almost sounds like I was a bad husband. Not to say I was the greatest—I’m not perfect in anything I do—but I think I deserve a f–king trophy. If I do say so myself, without sounding too cocky, I gotta say I was a hell of a husband and a hell of a dad.”
