In a hearing over about Michael Jackson’s estate, Katherine and Joe Jackson take opposite sides.

It seems like Mama Jackson is not the pushover some people take her for.
According to TMZ Katherine Jackson’s new lawyer, Adam Streisand, told a judge that Joe has no legal standing to object to John Branca and John McClain’s roles as executors of Michael Jackson’s estate. Papa Joe tried to claim the signature on Michael’s last known will was forged, and thus should be nullified.
Streisand argued Katherine has no problem with them as executors and that since Michael didn’t mention him in the will Joe has no legal standing to say anything.
That’s what the kids call shade, Joe.
Joe then threatened that if he doesn’t get an allowance, he’ll file a creditor’s claim against his son’s estate. Super classy, ya’ll.
Joe tried to say Katherine made a deal, which kept her from co-signing his legitimate estate challenge. But Katherine denied this, and noted that while she has no problem with him asking for money, she objected to his right to contest who runs Michael’s finances.
You know, given Michael didn’t think enough of him to mention him in his will and all.
A judge agreed and told Joe to sit his old self down (in PC, legal speak, of course) and formally appointed Branca and McClain co-executors of the Jackson estate.
All’s well that ends well?

Good for Katherine. Bottom line is if Joe wasn’t mentioned in the will, he ought to man up and accept it instead of crying like a little boy!

Michael didn’t name him in the will because he didn’t want his father screwing over him in death as he had done all his life.

I’m so glad to hear that Ms.Jackson does have the fight in her, someone has to challenge his trifling behind. I can’t believe this ass of a man!! He is truly a piece of work;to sue for something he isn’t entitled too,if I recall he wasn’t on the list of creditors that have been mention and for Joe Jackson to even considered himself a creditor to get money out of his dead son’s estate WoW his lawyer probably advise him to take this route, they’re both just sleaze bags! He is a peice of work, “A legend in his own dam mind”. His father is still trying to screw MJ even in his death, “Unbelieveable indeed”. If there was anyway for Ms. Jackson to agree to giving him a fixed amount and have him sign some sort of legal affidavit stating that he would recieve what ever the dollar amount is and that would be it and he couldn’t come back looking for more then I would go ahead and do it and just been done with this dead beat.
I don’t understand how you all can report this trash, as it is, because you can believe nothng that you see on the internet, in print, television, hear, or see for that matter. Michael once said, “Just because you read it in a magazine, or see it on the t.v. screen don’t make it factual.” So with that I say to you stop being tabloid junkies, and stop with all this madness. People will do any and everything for money and we don’t know if this is true at all.

I am so glad thar MS.JACKSON is proving to everyone that she is not a weak woman. It goes to show that there are still some strong black women who do need a man to validate them.Good for her and GOD bless her and her entire family.

Well I think that Joe is not mentioned in the will because his son didn’t want to leave him a thing. Joe must have been a mean father or something went wrong when Michael was growing up. So Joe just let it be and leave it alone. It’s right there in black and white, YOU DON’T GET A THING!!!!!

I doubt that she will divorce him….she’s a devout Jehovah Witness.
Seems as if Joe is not giving up his fight, he is going to the Court of Appeals. His bid for access to the estate was turned down last Tuesday. He is claiming the will was forged, the judge has upheld the will as legal and binding.

Micheal did the right thing of leaving his estates to his Mother and children. I just pray that these executors are trustworthy and NOT scheming and beat Katherine and these children out of their profits. I trust no-one when it comes to money.
Joe Jackson is my least worry, he should of been saving for himself or just make the best of whatever he already has. Never should he (Joe) of thought that he is entitled to any of his wife/children money in their death. People in generale should not be looking for to inherit wealth from their love ones dying. It always bring conflict.

Joe Jackson does deserve an allowance from Michael. He was the reason Michael (black and white) was who he is, and Joe Jackson deserves something. The only reason he didn’t include Joe in the will was because of the infidelity, and outside child. Joe jackson was not the ooger that he was made out to be.
Joe prepared the Jacksons to be successful in show business. His methods were fucked up, though, and damaged all his children. From what I understand, even when Joe was not managing Michael or his brothers/sisters anymore, he was still getting an allowance from Michael. Joe should have lived on what the allowance could cover and sat his but down. But no, he got himself involved in all sorts of shady business schemes that didn’t pan out and left him in debt. I think Joe and Randy are in cahoots with each other, because Randy was quoted as saying he thought Michael’s signature on the will was forged as well.
