Jamie Foxx made a comment about skinnier women and their dancing at a recent tour stop.

While at a recent tour stop, Jamie Foxx said:
“We give away a couple of grand to the ladies that can dance the best to the song I have on my album, called Slow. I have ladies coming onstage, and most of the time the women that win are my thick women. For some reason the real skinny girls that are eating lettuce and drinking air don’t dance well.”
Now just the other day I was watching two big girls do their dance and yes, they were getting it, but I’m slim and I don’t dance like I’m afraid of my bones falling out of place.
I know Jamie’s full of jokes, but c’mon nah my fellow skinny people, you need to be representing on tour!

I think he meant, skinny as in “stick” skinny. The women in videos are average not “skinny”. Aside from that, what determines if you’re a good dancer isn’t really about size, it’s more about having rhythm to a song your dancing to, imo.

In some of the videos the skinny women aren’t even dancing. They’re just laying there half dressed.
No one wants to see a big cow like Chaz try to dance.

There isn’t anything wrong with a women who has a little meat on her bones but is healthy and not dealing with anything that is compromising her health by being too heavy. My man just has more to hold on to and more of me to love. I don’t have anything against “skinny women” because I use to be on one of them many years ago too, before having children and the middle age spread started. You just have to love who you are and be comfortable in your own skin. Many of the music videos have voluptous women dancing, you know why-sex sells, and they know men are visual creatures… and that’s all I’m going to say about that… for the grown & sexy use your imagination with that comment.
I don’t think that Jamie is downing skinny people. Why make a mountian out of a mole hill.
