BEYONCE LANDS TEN GRAMMY NOMINATIONS

THE FACTS
Grammy award nominations were revealed last night.

THE SPIN
If you haven’t learned by now this is Beyonce’s world and we’re all just jiggin’ and ordering Popeye’s biscuits in it.

Despite being a fan I honestly didn’t expect her to pull out so many nominations, but Beyonce cleaned up last night earning nominations in the three most prestigious categories: Album, Song, and Record of the Year.

She was nominated in seven other categories, while others like Maxwell, Keri Hilson, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, earning additional nods as well.

Noticeably absent is previous Grammy darling, Kanye West, whose last offering, “808s and Heartbreaks,” seems to have been overlooked. What a shame, because many people were taken aback by the new description, I didn’t find the album to be that bad.

Also absent was Clive Davis’ favorite, Whitney Houston, who reportedly rushed out her project in order to make the Grammy deadline.

50 CENT TALKS VIVICA A. FOX, CIARA AND KELLY ROWLAND

THE FACTS
In a recent radio interview 50 Cent addressed various rumors about who he’s been dating.

THE SPIN
Here’s video of 50 Cent’s interview with “The Madd Hatta Morning Show” at 97.9 The Box in Houston.

Basically: He’s not dating Ciara, didn’t buy her a car, isn’t dealing with Kelly Rowland romantically either, but wait he has put aside personal beef with Vivica Fox to cast her in his new video.

Previously 50 accused Aunt Viv of using their relationship for professional gain. I guess all is forgiven now that she’s agreed to do the same for him.

Here are pics of the two on set for 50’s next video, “Do You Think About Me?

YOUR SPIN: Why do you think Viv went back and did this video?  Tell us here.

LLOYD CLARIFIES BEEF WITH CIARA

THE FACTS
In a radio interview, Lloyd explains the back story behind his infamous comments about Ciara in which he referred to her as a b-tch.

THE SPIN
A month ago Lloyd told Hip Hop Weekly:

“I don’t f**k with Hollywood b**ches and she’s like one of the chicks that’s just changed along the way with the fame and the money and all of that.

“I don’t really get down with her anymore on some real s**t. The truth hurts, but it will set you free. But I wish her all the best.”

And since context is everything, Lloyd is going to keep getting asked about his comments about Ciara.

While promoting his new single, “Pusha” with Lil’ Wayne (I swear that Negro would collaborate with a toaster on a track if it paid bread), the now ex-Murder Inc. signee explained his comments about Ciara, and how he addressed them to her head on:

Just last week Tionne Smalls of Chilli’s new reality show with VH1 claimed Ciara had a stank attitude with her. And while speaking with Sandra Rose, Kandi Burruss was asked whether or not that many people despise Ciara. Kandi said she wasn’t taking on that question, which suggests Lloyd might not be the only person in the industry calling Ciara out of her name.
