JOE JACKSON NEEDS A JOB

THE FACTS
Lawyers for Michael Jackson’s estate have filed papers opposing Joe Jackson’s request for an allowance.
THE SPIN
It seems like Joe is going to keep on fighting for a check – even if it means pissing off the handlers of his late son’s financial affairs.
Yep, Papa Backhand is still looking for a pay off. Unfortunately for him attorneys for estate administrators John Branca and John McClainfiled papers opposing Joe Jackson’s efforts to get more than 15,000 dollars a month from his son’s estate.
Via the Mirror:
The filing states Joe Jackson has failed to show that his superstar son supported him while he was alive.
The filings also note that the singer omitted his father as a beneficiary in his will and trust, and that any money paid to Joe Jackson would reduce the estate’s assets available for Michael Jackson’s mother and children.
The children, Katherine Jackson and various unnamed charities are the only beneficiaries of Michael Jackson’s estate. Katherine Jackson and the children are receiving more than 86,000 dollars a month, and the administrators recently moved to increase the monthly stipends. The exact allowance amount has not been released.
Honestly, I’m all for supporting my parents once I enter the tax bracket I’m destined for. However, in Joe Jackson’s case, he’s long profited off the talents of his children and by now should have enough money to where he doesn’t need to hit up his dead son’s estate like it’s a regular piggy bank. Especially when we all know he’s only going to use that money to fund his cat daddy lifestyle in Vegas.
Joe, if you want to make it rain go grab you some sprinklers and water somebody’s yard first. This isn’t cool, sir.
