Word around the Web is that Daddy Mat has been confirmed as the dad of a new baby girl bred by Alexsandra Wright.

If you recall Wright filed a paternity suit against Beyonce and Solange’s pops claiming the two had an affair and that he knocked her up.

Here’s what Media Take Out is saying about the Knowles family’s version of JohVonnie Jackson:

A snitch just told MediaTakeOut.com that Alexsandra Wright, the woman who filed a paternity suit against Mathew Knowles months ago, recently gave birth to a daughter.

And word is DNA tests just came back - confirming that the child is, in fact, a Knowles. As we reported earlier, Beyonce’s mom Tina OFFICIALLY filed to divorce Mathew in November.

Mathew then hit back with a statement via rep saying: “We are not aware of the birth of a child. Mr. Knowles has never had a DNA test.”

I won’t trust this until a more reputable media establishment confirms it (yes, I’m talking about TMZ), but I bet if there is a little baby by Mathew, Tina won’t be sending the parents free House of Dereon.

In an interview with USA Today, Beyonce reveals she plans to take a six-month break from music this year.

THE SPIN
As much as I love her I’ve been asking for a break for about two years now. And now finally, Beyonce’s giving it to us.

The singer plans to take a six-month long break from recording after completing her 11-month long world tour once it finishes up in February.

That means award shows will likely suck, but the lesser R&B singers of the world will get a chance to give us a reason to miss Beyonce while performing.

Anyhow, here’s the queen on her short departure from music:

The to-do list consists of “random things. I want to go to restaurants, maybe take a class, see some movies and Broadway shows.” (Beyoncé says she would love to do a stage musical, eventually.) She’s also keen to spend more time with her 5-year-old nephew, Daniel, whose mom is Beyoncé’s younger sister, Solange, 23. “He’s a wonderful kid, amazing, so smart. And I spoil him, so it’s a lot of work. He’s a 24-hour job.”

Still, Beyoncé doesn’t expect her sabbatical from the music business to be easy, or even necessarily successful. “It will be the hardest thing in the world for me to make myself not do an album and shoot a video and turn it in and say, ‘I’m ready!’ I already have all these melodies and ideas in my head. I have to tell myself, ‘Sit down! Sit down!’ “

I think this will be good for her. Maybe she’ll come back with a new look. I think a shorter do or another color would be beneficial. I don’t know, something different than what we’re used to. At this point I don’t think Beyonce has anything to worry about. Look who else is out there – trust me, Bey, we’ll miss you after awhile.

Tina Knowles has reportedly filed for divorce from Mathew Knowles.

THE SPIN
Get it out of your systems now. Tina Knowles has finally told Mathew, “To the left, to the left.”

I can’t say this is really all that shocking. The two have been plagued with separation rumors for years. As in Mathew is always on the prowl, Tina had her own house in Houston, and there was a reason you rarely you the two pictured together.

Oh and that whole paternity suit probably didn’t help matters.

And yet, it’s kind of sad for this news to come out one week before Christmas.

A number of Web sites have reported that Tina Knowles indeed filed for divorce in Harris County a month ago.

Together the two have built quite a fortune off the strength of their daughter’s talent. Be curious to see how it’s split, but in any event I wish them both happiness, Popeye’s, and tax breaks.

Also condolences to Beyonce and Solange…or as TMZ like to refer to her as, “Beyonce’s sister.”
