TAMEKA WASN’T LYING ABOUT HER PUBLISHER

THE FACTS
Celebrity chef D’Andre McCarter has reiterated Tameka Raymond’s sentiments about a publisher she accused of stealing.
THE SPIN
A week ago a story surfaced about Tameka “Don’t Call Me Foster, I Still Carry The Name…” Raymond accusing her publicist, Rochelle Brown, of stealing $20,000 worth of clothes. Some dismissed it as merely talk of Tameka making noise for headlines, but now Atlanta celebrity chef D’Andre McCarter has spoken out about his own drama with Ms. Brown.
Via Hello Beautiful:
The Launch Party for The Real Private Chefs of The World was scheduled for October 17, 2009 but was eventually cancelled due to the un-professionalism of Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR after a electronic deposit was made into the account of Ms. Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR all communications stopped. Similar to Ms. Foster after many attempts to contact Ms. Brown she would not answer her phone, respond to texts or emails it was like she basically disappeared off the face of the earth with the deposit. Several weeks before the event Ms. Brown could not be reached for a progress report or would not contact Chef D’Andre to let him know how funds were allocated in preparations for his event. The event date came and went and still with no communication from Ms. Brown it wasn’t until the attorney for The Real Private Chefs of The World contacted Ms. Brown were they able to get a response. As soon as the county in which Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR is set up to do business in can be determined a civil suit will be pursued.
Who wants to hear a funny story? Though I didn’t think anything of it when I first saw the name, after looking at Rhymes With Snitch, I realized something: I know Rochelle Brown. She went to high school with me. She was a few years older, but we definitely had a theater arts class together.
Way to represent, Rochelle.
