TAMEKA WASN’T LYING ABOUT HER PUBLISHER

THE FACTS
Celebrity chef D’Andre McCarter has reiterated Tameka Raymond’s sentiments about a publisher she accused of stealing.

THE SPIN
A week ago a story surfaced about Tameka “Don’t Call Me Foster, I Still Carry The Name…” Raymond accusing her publicist, Rochelle Brown, of stealing $20,000 worth of clothes. Some dismissed it as merely talk of Tameka making noise for headlines, but now Atlanta celebrity chef D’Andre McCarter has spoken out about his own drama with Ms. Brown.

Via Hello Beautiful:

The Launch Party for The Real Private Chefs of The World was scheduled for October 17, 2009 but was eventually cancelled due  to the un-professionalism of Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR after a electronic deposit was made into the account of Ms. Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR  all communications stopped. Similar to Ms. Foster after many attempts to contact Ms. Brown she would not answer her phone, respond to texts or emails it was like she basically disappeared off the face of the earth with the deposit. Several weeks before the event  Ms. Brown could not be reached for a progress report or would not contact Chef D’Andre to let him know how funds were allocated in preparations for his event. The event date came and went and still with no communication from Ms. Brown it wasn’t until the attorney for The Real Private Chefs of The World  contacted Ms. Brown were they able to get a response. As soon as the county in which Rochelle Brown and The V Firm PR is set up to do business in can be determined a civil suit will be pursued.

Who wants to hear a funny story? Though I didn’t think anything of it when I first saw the name, after looking at Rhymes With Snitch, I realized something: I know Rochelle Brown. She went to high school with me. She was a few years older, but we definitely had a theater arts class together.

Way to represent, Rochelle.

NENE LEAKES: ‘I MAKE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATL’

THE FACTS
The Atlanta housewife responds to rumors of her being booted from the reality series.

THE SPIN
It seems that the people over at Sister 2 Sister changed NeNe Leakes’ original quotes about rumors of her being booted from the show.

But ya’ll know how the internet works: Once something is out there, it’s out there.

That said, Rhymes With Snitch quotes NeNe saying she told them that “There wouldn’t be a show without me” and that “It don’t matter if they have me back or not because I have plenty of million dollar offers on the table.”

I guess her publicist woke up and decided to tell her that she might want to tone that down.

That spawned the more generic, PC response of:

“This is all I can tell you—and I don’t want to talk about:  Every housewife has been invited back. They try to lock you in for a number of years. We all signed up for a third season when we signed on from day one. If anybody has been fired, nobody knows anything about it. We know nothing about it. I don’t know where the rumor came from.”

Say what you mean and mean what you say – although I’d probably remix my thoughts, too, if it meant I could keep a check coming.

Speaking of checks, NeNe checked Tameka indirectly about the real reason why she’s not appearing on the show. Mrs. Raymond (only in name now) said she had no interest in doing the show despite being asked.

Her statement read:

“While I am flattered at the rumor circulating about being considered to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, I am absolutely not joining the cast. I was initially approached by the producers for last season and declined. At this point, my priorities are focusing on being a mom and my philanthropy, Lost Ones Foundation.”

What did NeNe say about that?

“No. Tameka [Foster] is definitely not coming on,” she said. “They don’t know who’s coming on, but it’s definitely not Tameka because she—whatever Usher did, she can’t do the show. “

That sounds a lot more like it.

TAMEKA RAYMOND NEXT ATL HOUSEWIFE?

THE FACTS
Rumors say the other cast members of The Real Housewives of Atlanta refuse to work with Tameka Raymond.

THE SPIN
She didn’t get along with the mother of her ex-husband, she constantly fights with bloggers she claims she doesn’t know exist, and judging from her Twitter account seems like quite the combative personality despite all of the refrigerator wisdom often spewing from her tweets.

Should we be surprised that the “elite of Atlanta” found on The Real Housewives of Atlanta don’t want to fool with her?

Via That B*tch from Rhymes With Snitch:

Don’t look for Tameka Raymond on Real Housewives of Atlanta because the other housewives don’t like her! They say Bravo is quietly planning to replace RHoA standouts NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak because those two cows won’t stop asking for more money, but when producers approached the remaining cast members with idea of adding Usher’s ex-wife Tameka they all threatened to walk!First, it’s silly to even try and replace Kim and NeNe. They are the show. But, if you were going to do it I bet if you added Tameka Raymond to the mix things would get mighty interesting. Is that the real reason why the other cast members don’t want her on the show? Chances are if she did make the cut a lot of the attention would fall on her.

Then again, it’s probably because they just can’t stand her. I’m glad the women united to declare that they would all walk should Tameka be added to the show. I don’t want to see her, do you?
